Dr. ? Dr. ? ......... Rupple !

The "baby" looks a lot like Dr. Rupple ( I wonder what he got up to eh ?) .. but "baby" has a dark red center compared to Rupple ... I wonder if I will ever get this mystery straightened out ?

the first picture is very nice. Gives me the idea that ... the flower is finally coming out of hiding. (even though it has bloomed) ...

hi there, Joy! haven't forgotten about you. It has just been busy. I think your clematis is called clematis Piilu. I planted one last fall and it had "Piilu" on it's sticker. You can see it in my June picture gallery. Take care and have a nice Sunday, Andrea

I always had trouble growing Clematis until we moved to this house. Your flower is beautiful! I love the pink flowing down the petal. There is nothing like a clematis bloom.

Anna .. this is one of my original ones .. I had Ville de Lyon (I think ) but clematis WILT got it .. now that scared me .. it is a terrible thing to see such lovely plants go brown and crispy when you didn't do it yourself ! LOL

Hi Andrea !
I have to get over to your blog and have a nice long stroll ! .. Thanks for dropping by and helping me figure this one out ! : )

what a lovely clematis. I found a Ramona clematis about 3 weeks ago and just got it planted a few days ago. Trouble is we had a killer frost last night and I'm not sure it's going to make it. Your photos are joyful.
