Morden Sunrise Information

I wanted to leave some links to information about Morden Sunrise in case anyone was really interested in getting one themselves. Parkland Series Canadian Climate Rose Rose Search
A thorn-less climber I just planted this year .. for gardeners like Jane Marie that have a terrible time with thorns, is called - Zephirine Drouhin .. Dave's Garden
This is my first year with ZD .. so I'll take pictures and let you know how it is doing in case anyone is interested in that one as well.

I've got two of the explorer series roses that I planted last year. I've heard very good things about the Parkland series as well.

Hi Amy .. I have to say when they are Canadian bred roses I feel safe that they will thrive well in my garden .. if I had room I would like some of the Explorer series too. There is a rose called Emily Carr that has my interest too .. I'm a fan of her art.

Thanks for the link Joy! I'll really have to get some roses. After reading all of these wonderful blogs with references to roses, I'm thinking that they sound pretty tempting...a good compliment for the daylilies:).

Chey .. you have to have at least one rose in your garden (Morden Sunrise is a perfect starter) .. and my day lilies have good scapes on them, so I am looking forward to some pretty "girls" in the garden smiling at me from thier side soon ! : )

I had 2 ZD's in my Kentucky garden and absolutely loved them. I'll have to get another one for up here and hope it likes snow!
