Pretty Campanula

It would be almost impossible for me to believe that a garden could be without at least one campanula. I have a few varieties. The small 'waterfall" type are my favorites. They are just so pretty and complimentary to plants next to them. I think every gardener must have a favourite one tucked away in a corner to brighten it up.

Well, I don't have any! But I shall look for some! I absolutely love the photos of your kitties. Can't get enough of them!

You have it perfectly placed for a good contrast. It really shows off.

Your campanual is very pretty tucked in with the cranesbill and painted ferns. Not sure what the lime green one is but it compliments the space very well.

Hi Beckie .. the lime green plant is Golden Barberry ( for colour and thorns to keep pests out ? LOL) The combinations are working pretty well .. thanks !

Nancy .. funny, I'm not really thinking in a lot of future detail but some how it happens for me ? haha

Thanks Jane Marie .. things are settling down fairly well so far .. just a bit of tweaking to do ?

Thanks Brenda .. I have to get one of both the girls together for here .. Emma has grown and her face is a little older looking now ? LOL .. YES ! there has to be a campanula you like out there some where : )

Well, here's another plant I don't have and now want. Is it a shade lover or sun plant?
Just read your post from Monday. Those were some very scary-looking clouds! You were very lucky not to get any bad weather out of them.

Hi Rose .. yes ! we were very lucky not to have a storm with those clouds .. most of the storms have been south of us. This campanula will take sun and shade .. most arevery easy going in surroundings. You have to have some !

I love this Campanula. My Blue waterfall just opened its first blossom today. Yours looks very pretty with the surrounding foliage. It's a great specimen with such a lot of flowers on it.
