'Touch of Class"

I'm not one for really showy plants (at least I don't think I am ?) .. but this one,' Touch of Class" did seem to want to go home with me for some reason. I think the name is rather egotistical too .. but how and why plants are named is another game altogether. So ... here it is .. slug proof hopefully .. I don't want to go through all of what Violet does at "Lady Greenthumb's Garden"
and the slugzillas she battles. I think I may just be safe with this one .. tough leaves and a don't touch colour scheme ?

Hosta are pretty tough even when chewedon Cindee .. I'm sure they will come back for you .. it is disappointing when they get eaten like that though .. I have been very lucky so far !

Very similar to the June hosta which is very striking. As for slugs, they do not seem to bother the harder leaved hostas. Also, sprinkle some salt on the slugs and they will vanish almost before your eyes! Trick from a Dutch friend.
