Emma in recovery mode at home ...

Emma came home Saturday morning .. a little frazzled but doing very well. Sophie was annoyed to see her back (Sophie loves being an 'only" cat child .. she lapped it up all the time Emma was gone. So .. some hissing and growling ensued .. but more from strange clinic smells than anything else .. they are almost back to normal now .
Some how Emma managed to pick up an UTI .. but they gave her a shot of antibiotics for that .. and we test her again in two weeks .. she is recovering wonderfully and Sophie will learn to share the attention again .. big sigh from her ! haha
Thank you to all the super bloggers that asked about her .. I appreciated it very much !

Poor Emma. I'm sorry to hear that happened to her. I must have missed your post of you saying she was not feeling good. Glad she is getting treated now. Poor Sophie, ha. I know I've mentioned it before but Emma is a beauty! I still can't believe she is so big already. She has a wonderful fluffy tail. Of course Sophie is gorgeous too...I just can't believe Emma looks like this already, so different from when she was little. Good luck Em get better and Sophie hang in there.

So glad Emma is doing fine. She's not being spoiled a little bit while recuperating, is she?

Hi Rose .. well I guess you 'know" me ! LOL .. yes .. they both have to be a bit spoiled in their own way .. like KIDS ? haha

Hi Cindee .. yup .. Sophie, is such an 'all ME all the TIME" cat .. too funny .. but that is the Siamese in her for sure ..LOL

Hi there Vanillalotus .. actually Emma went in for her spay operation and while there they found a UTI .. but treated it right away .. she has a beautiful face and a tail like a fox, it is so fluffy. We suspect Main Coon in her but heaven knows with a Humane Society kitten. Sophie's nose is out of joint but she will recover .. spoiled kid .. haha
Thanks for stopping by : )

Oh how true! I used to have a Siamese a few years back, and you're right, they're the 'me all the time' type. My siamese was like velcro; stuck to me like glue so no other cat had a chance for affection or any of my attentio. She used to sleep on top of me every night, cry like a baby when I locked her out of a room and fall apart emotionally when I was gone for a few hours. She was an emotional basket case...LOL. But she was so affectionate and sweet and beautiful; you couldn't help but love her. I sure do miss her...sigh...

Anyhow (getting off my soap box), I'm glad to see that Emma is doing so well. She'll be so much happier now that she's had her surgery. And, no doubt, so will you! LOL...

So nice to see the photos. I'm sure both your girls will settle back down soon.

I was looking at pics of Molly and Lucy. Their faces look the same but with opposite markings. I love that. Your cats are so clean along with your house and gardens. I'm glad that Emma is recovering and getting back in the groove.

I was writing this and those coneflowers are peeking at me behind the comment screen. So--I took a look and Wow!! I had no idea they smelled so good.

Anna ! get out of here girl ! .. You didn't know that a lot of the coneflowers smell amazing ? .. i didn't think the older cultivars did until I had White Swan trapped in my car on a warm day while I was running errands .. and WOW ! it was amazing .. thus the big plant off with that last Autumn .. I loved it so mauch. Hey .. remember I have seen pictures of your house and gardens and they are fantastic .. you have just the house I would love (not that I don't appreciate mine .. but that style "craftsman" ? it is wonderful ! .. we are both lucky eh ? .. I miss my two gorgeous Calicos terribly .. Molly moved to and from Holland with us .. she was our protector all the time we were in hotels with the move .. no other cat like her .. and Lucy .. such a sweet little soul .. I love our pets so dearly they truly are family members .. it is a terrible blow to lose them.

Hi Rose .. I owe you an e-mail again : )
We have been so darn busy with moving furniture and trying to get back to normal with all that has gone on .. once my brain is up to speed ? LOL

Hi there WR ! .. a BIg yes to Siamese characters .. Sophie looks at us with those big baby blues and it is like "LOVE ME!!" haha
Emma is the baby but Sophie is the bigger baby ? LOL .. Yes, she is doing really well and getting back to normal .. we just have to have her tested in about 10 days for that UTI .. I have liquid repellent cat litter (that looks like chocolate sprinkles you decorate a cake with .. groan ?) to catch a sample to take to the clinic .. it is Sophie's turn to have her annual and shots soon too .. will we ever have peace and quiet here again ?? LOL

Thank you about my house! No, I didn't know coneflowers were so aromatic;) I don't have any yet at the new house--but just you wait.

Anna .. YES! You must have coneflowers at your new house girl ! .. I have gone a little overboard in some spots of my garden .. but this time I am making notes as to where I have to move them to fill out other spots .. I love them, and I know you have been bitten by them too when you caught that wonderful scent .. : )
