Little Madam Emma

I shot these pictures a few days ago while on the deck .. can you believe the glass door was clean enough to get such good pictures ? I'm amazed : ) in any case .. Emma has had a tough time of it going through her first heat cycle and we are hoping she won't again before her spay operation .. Sophie was totally disgusted with her which made her even more pathetic than ever .. I just didn't expect she would before her 6 month mark .. poor little girl. So here is a post for Emma .. not that she would know, but she is a sweetie-pie even when howling like a dog ? LOL

She truly is a madam! We don't know what it's like since we've been spayed before it ever happened to us, but we can surely relate to all of our neighbours and their 'sweet serenades' under our window. Poor Emma, she'll be through the hard times before you can say 'Darn, these glass door do look clean indeed' and will grow to be one lucky madam. After all, we live with the dogs, I mean, who would want that?! Disgraceful! LOL

Poor Kristy & Krusty .. living with dogs has to be a bummer .. they smell funny don't they ? Sophie was put out with me when my hormones flew out of no where .. Right now I'm ok, but no promises I'll stay that way until I'm 'fixed" .. I appreciate the fan club .. especially since Sophie usually pushes me aside for that sort of thing .. she can't help being a diva (she is part Siamese after all) ..
Take care and enjoy teasing those dogs !
Emma ^..^

Poor baby. It will be over soon. How is the coon?

Hooray!!! New Emma photos! Just look at those eyes! Needless to say, Molly's big nose makes sure we could never take any photos through our deck door, so I'm impressed! Poor little teen, but she shouldn't come into heat again before she's fixed, so I think peace should reign in your house from henceforth unless the raccoon decides to invite himself in and join the action...

Debbie .. we are all hoping the coon is meeting his MATCH this afternoon with a new coon catcher .. fingers crossed we can go back to normal without an extra lodger occupying the attic in a few days ? !!

Cindee .. I am amazed I caught the deck door and Emma both in great condition at the same time girl ! haha .. ya' sure .. play with the neighborhood gang .. hahaha .. get out of town girl ! haha

garden girl .. she has stretched out quite a lot .. she is still rather skinny (plays endlessly some days) wish I had her metabolisim ? LOL .. even number one son said she grew while he was away. Young lady but no manners ?LOL

Hi Chey .. she does have amazing eyes .. Sophie has beautiful light blue ones .. so they are both very different from each other.

Hello there Vanillalotus ! .. long time no see girl : )
We were caught by surprise with this too .. we thought she would be safe until her spay op .. but I guess nature won't wait ? LOL

Hey Darlene .. did you laugh at my silly post over there ? .. jeez .. half a brain going here. I think your Tangie is a beautiful queen .. like our Sophie .. both a little chubby but wears it with dignity ? LOL

'ben" how did you sneak in here and I didn't see you until I signed out and went in again .. that is weird how that happens some times. hey .. no cracks about that raccoon !!!! .. we have a new "catcher" coming this afternoon to actually crawl up in the attic .. ugh ! makes me creepy crawly just thinking about it .. if the raccoon feels threatened I hope he heads out that one place he gets in and not for the attic hatch .. there will be some blood curdling screaming if that happens .. you may even hear it your way ??? LOL
Yes .. Emma knows she is a little beauty .. she tells Sophie every day ! haha

Emma is a beauty queen! She has certainly grown up; hope she gets through this trying time soon.

Your rose is beautiful, and you just planted it this year? Wow!

CanadianGardenJoy said...

Hi Rose .. YES ! I am amazed too with Blossomtime .. Orange Velvet is not doing much but it may be too crowded with the other plants I have with it. But wow ! I'm loving BT ! .. It makes me nervous about her operation but it has to be done .. she is an energetic healthy girl so she should be alright .. Sophie ran around the house playing when she came home after her operation .. too funny it was : )

Thanks Nancy .. we will all breath easier when this is done and she is back home feeling good ! : )

Emma has truly beautifully shaped eyes. The slant gives her a very regal look.
When it's a said and done, she'll be glad to get rid of the "curse." She'll feel so much better.

She's a cutie! Sure hope no misters sidled up to her "while in heat." My glass door is forever dog slobbered, as well as the front driver's door window of my Pathfinder.

Hey Brenda .. I know what you mean about glass doors girl .. our deck door has kitty nose and paw prints let alone the mister cats who like to leave a little "spray" action .. it makes me mad about that part .. but hey , such is life right ? LOL

Jane Marie .. You are so right ( I still haven't gotten rid of the CURSE ! haha) .. she has quite a misture in her .. we think a touch of Siamese , Main Coon .. perhaps a bit of Persian. Sophie vchanged a lot as she grew .. so we are watching Emma change little by littl too : )
