I am glad kitty is doing better. It does take a while to recover from that surgery. She looks very happy there(-:

Your cat pictures are so cute! What is Emma recovering from? She looks like she's nicely resting here ...

Hi Joanne .. Emma had her spay operation about two weeks ago now .. time has flown by .. the girls were at odds with each other when Emma got home .. she didn't smell right to Sophie ? LOL

Hi Cindee .. Emma made it known that this was her bed .. Sophie always did like her Costco Kirkland box bed though .. girls ! : )

They are sooo beautiful...I just love cats, and dogs, and animals in general! It is time for my young poodle Lucy to get spayed....maybe that will calm her down a bit, she is the wildest poodle we have ever had.

Darlene .. wow , seeing Lucy's name hit home for me. We lost (had to put her to sleep, she was quite ill) this past January. It just tears you up inside going through that type of thing.
But .. I think the spay operation should calm your Lucy down Darlene .. is usually does .. so hang in there girl !
PS .. aren't poodles kind of crazy anyways ? LOL

Congrats, Joy! We were finally able to have our outdoor cat mother, Kittenous, spayed about a month ago, and she too has recovered quickly and beautifully. To my amazement, she continues to nurse the adorable Maine coonesque kitten, Marley, whom we decided to keep. (I thought the operation would have "dried her out," so we waited 'til Marley was able to thrive on cat food before taking her in. But he still enjoys nursing, too.) And you're right, after a vet stay, cats (and dogs) smell different to their companions, who don't find the hospital scent an improvement!

Hello there 'ben" !
My goodness I would have thought the same thing about the operation drying her milk up .. that is wonderful you have kept that kitten and she can still nurse the big ?baby ? LOL
Yup .. vet/clinic smells are not the smell of choice for our little ones .. LOL
