'Pamina" Amazing Anemone !

I have been smitten by a new (to me, that is) cultivar of anemone called Pamina. I love anemones Spring and Autumn ones .. but this one has knocked me over with how gorgeous and "practical" it is .. practical in the sense that it doesn't stretch far our and appear some what leggy from its foliage. Which can look a bit awkward at times .. especially if it has been a bit wind beaten. The flower itself is very pretty .. doubled and frilly .. very girlie and have I mentioned PINK of course ! It blends in with the sedum and Pinky Winky plus my hot pink mums .. talk about a patch of girlie pink flowers .. ya' gotta' love them : )

See what a gorgeous face 'she" has ? so many buds to open yet. I'm waiting on Purple Dome aster to make its debut for the season too .. I just know they are going to be great friends !

I'm thinking I should have gotten 'Pamina' instead of the incredibly floppy 'Party Dress.' I already have Campanula 'Sarastro'; you'd think Anemone 'Pamina' would have been the logical choice. That thwacking sound you're hearing is me kicking myself.

Looks like a fabulous Anemone cultivar Joy! I love the shade of pink & if it's as well behaved as you say, what a keeper!

Mr. M's Daughter .. I had to read your post on your experience with these anemone .. and wow ! thanks for the heads up on the "thuggish" tendancy of some .. I'm sweet on this one so it is my favorite .. for now ! : )

Hi perennialgardener ! .. This is my first year with Pamina .. it took a little while to flower out and it is loaded with lots of buds. Plus it is shorter and more sturdy .. so this seems to be one perfect anemone .. so far ! : )

My pink anemones did not bloom this year. I think it was from all the smoke that covered the sun for so long. My white ones bloomed. I guess I will have to wait till next year. Boo Hoo)-:
