Cindee Made Me "Moon" Too !

This post is Cindee's fault .. she kept reminding me that SHE has a new moon and it is gorgeous ! .. so now I have to drag my poor moon out from last year and shine the light on him for a comfort zone on this wet, cold BLAH Saturday night .. I want to remember how beautiful my Trollius chinensis 'Golden Queen' globe flower looked against his blackened face .. they make a lovely couple right ? OK .. so I'm desperate tonight .. all the reno business is making me a wreck and there is NO chocolate in the house : ( BIG sigh !

I hope your photos of your Moon & yellow Trollis cheered you up a bit Joy. I almost ordered some of those pretty blooms. They are gorgeous. :)

I love the moon - and the globeflower is a perfect companion for her. Don't work too hard on those renos -- watch those already sore muscles! ;)

I love your moon(-: No chocolate could be a major problem though.(-:
I did a little work on my moon. I antiqued it the other day so now I like it better. I also have a metal moon/stars man I guess I should post a picture of him sometime.(-:

Repeat after me.." I must never allow the chocolate stash to run out!" Recite the phrase way more then 5 times and you will never run out of chocolate!

Tonight the moon had a giant ring around it! We are going to have big time rain! Love the photo of your moon!

Very good couple! I haven't decided about garden art, except I kinda like turtles, otherwise no garden art to speak of. I plan on making a small fountain out of a watering can and galvanized tub- does that count? I would pick this post- as I love those flowers and your sense of humor to go along with it ;), but I can't seem to navigate blotanical right now. Happy Gardening!

My sister gave me her moon when she moved to Florida. Oh, and thanks for the reminder. I've got some chocolate that I bought yesterday, but forgot about. I'm digging it out now and raising a toast to you. Have a lovely Sunday.

Racquel ! do you mean you didn't get any of these beauties ? what happened that stopped you ? .. I can vouch for them as very reliable and pretty girl : ) You have to have some !!

Hi Nancy .. the only work we have to do really is empty out the shed .. get things out of the way when they start tearing things down .. all the contractors said that taking a deck apart is more work than building it .. then all those permits and inspection delays .. but I keep saying it will be worth it,right ?? !!!

Cindee .. girl I really want to see the moon and stars man ! .. I missed out on one of the combo faces of the moon and sun and I have kicked myself for that one since last Fall .. I hesitated and lost out .. never again !! go take a picture now !!

Gail .. I must ingrain that mantra in my head (almost all the stores are groaning with Easter chocolate now !) .. you would think the smell would remind me ? LOL
Our rain started early evening so I didn't get to see the moon .. must have been pretty !

MT !! Do you have a moon ? You have to have one girl .. we should start the "Mooning Club" now that would be funny ! : )

Tessa .. a water feature with the can and tub would be wonderful !!! and that can count as art .. if you like turtles there are turtles of a solid nature for you out there girl .. I like metal that ages but any material that takes your fancy is great ! I wonder what is going on with Bloty again ?

Jill girl ! how can you forget chocolate ? .. and that is ME saying that ? LOL .. we have to see your moon girl .. a garden is more perfect with a moon residing in it : ) .. thank you so much for the toast ! toasting back when I stash some chocolate : )

You will understand how plant deprived I am when I scoured the pictures for what was supposed to be a Full Moon Japanese Maple.... where the idea came from is totally beyond me..... totally missed the actual moon that you spoke of.... gorgeous with the Trollius by the way..... perhaps this is a sign I need some chocolate too!

A moon is one thing I don't have in the garden. So I need to be looking for one. And Joy, never, never allow yourself to run out of chocolate, girl! I keep a stock pile of it!

Teza .. that might have been partly my fault .. we had a conversation about Japanese maple and how much I wanted one .. maybe it got stuck ? .. as for me, I think I posted this picture before not long ago !! jeez !!
We all need chocolate ... lots of it !!

Brenda .. you have to have a moon girl ! there is no two ways about it .. a moon is a MUST ! .. and so is that stockpile of chocolate : )

I'm glad you took the trouble to take it out. She's beautiful. Black is beautiful, so they say. And, they are right!
Now, what's there in my garden that I could show off ... Hmmm ...

Ahhhh, chocolate. I dreamed of chocolate just last night, Joy. I dreamed that I was in wal-mart and they had marked down the left over giant valentine hearts to 40 cents a box. I was loadin up. LOL Aren't I pathetic? LOL

Hi Joy, I do love that combination! Your Mister Moon is a charmer. That is a plant I have never grown either. Yours looks fabulous.

BTW, the red plant that looked like chenille in the fairy gazebo post is Calluna vulgaris 'Firefly'.

Hi blossom .. I love the contrast of black and light coloured plants .. and garden art that is a bit quirky helps too of course !
Take something out that you haven't thought of in a while ?

Randy ? Jamie ? boys !! .. chocolate is driving me crazy right now .. Easter I'm sure is the biggest month for the chocolate show down .. the stores are absolutely over powered by the smell .. how can you NOT dream about it or buy the damn stuff !!

Frances, I would never have thought it was a heather ! it is an amazing colour right now .. how long have you had it ? what zone is it tagged for ? .. I have had no luck with heathers. The Trollius is a favorite of mine .. giant buttercup that it is ! LOL
The foliage stays quite nice the rest of the season too .. so it is an all purpose plant : )
