As I am trying to stick to .. the promise of Winthrop posing each first day of the month .. and I have to say, it has to get better and better right ? ...
Snow the first day of March but NOT the first day of April .. we are making headway ?
I realized I should have paid more attention to the actual position of Winthrop .. the pose is not quite the same .. but I think we got the idea .. haven't we ?
Happy April Fool's Day .. we all steered away from the trick part .. not a good idea with me in a grump slump ; )

Hope they show for you. Glad to see the lack of snow. We had rain mixed with snow today. Ugh.
No snow but still cold there. Amazing how things look in the winter!(-: Every year I say I am planting more evergreen plants. (I never do.) Then Spring comes and everything springs to life and it looks so pretty I forget all about winter! I want to buy some Japanese Forest Grass now. But I am not sure about growing it here in my climate.
Ha! Winthrop definitely looks happier, or at least more comfortable, today! Good luck with the weather and the deck guys tomorrow...
Hi there VP .. thank you girl ! you are sweet to me .. I hate being in a grump slump .. just heard from the contractor they hope to start tomorrow .. but there is an issue over the permit .. it may have to be a "new build" one after all .. I don't care .. I just want it DONE !
Can I come over and stay with you until they are done ?? LOL

I also go through that thing too .. more ever greens, so I can see something green ? during winter .. but then I forget too and it all gets steam rolled out the door ? haha .. I have a gold cultivar of the forest grass .. I want to add more since we have more shade in the back each year .. it might be OK for you .. give it a try or you will never know for sure !

My dear...It's ok to be grumpy, you know we don't mind! It's the in between and not knowing when it will start and when it will end that gets in the way! I found it next to impossible to leave the house for fear they might show up! Leavr anyway and leave them your cell number! hang in there ((((YOU))))

Hi Frances .. I think I am still in the slump since the contractor says there is this issue with the permit .. may have to be the new build one .. it is a beautiful day here and NO action happening with the deck .. why am I so gullible believing in contractors ?? LOL
