Garden Picture OVERLOAD !!! Help !!!!

OK ... I admit to "fishing" again for passer-byers ?? .. is that an actual word ?
I did something I thought was not possible .. it was over two days but I just didn't think I filled the memory card THAT MUCH ?
419 pictures on a 2 G card .. I thought I could only fill to a maybe 375 capacity ? .. but here I am with so many pictures I am going crazy trying to edit them all and dump the blurry stuff.
Meanwhile back at the farm ... sorry .. I just can't get that out of my head for some reason .. I grew up loving TV too much ?
Here are some blooms and the respective visitors that thought they were pretty special as well ?
Yes .. Debbie M., if you are reading this .. these are the "Morden" roses for you girl ! ;-)
I think this is Strawberry Candy but the colouring seems odd some how ?
An astilbe "Chinensis" they remind me of burning candle wicks as they start opening from those tight buds.
This is "Sprite" against Mugo Pine .. I love the combination of soft colour and texture against the pine .. it reminds me of Christmas ? snowflakes on pine trees ?
A lady bug that I drove buggy trying to get a good picture of .. no wonder I am nuts ?

Gilt Edge Toad lily starting to bloom .. these are amazing little gems in the garden : )

Another interested little fellow .. he is loving my cone flowers .. I'm happy to oblige !
The "dark ones" are coming .. I have a thing for Fatal Attraction and Merlot .. the darker the better for dramatic punctuation in the garden ?
What would a post be without a picture of my love ... the "pampered sumac" .. notice the glow of the rising sun against the fence ... that is why I love early mornings .. that and the quiet ! : )

Looking good there(-: It is easy to fill of the camera card taking pictures of all your flowers! It is fun to capture just the right pose etc. It is also fun to see what is on the card and think how did I get that picture to look like that?(-:

The coneflowers that are coming up dark looks really cool...the colors are so rich and the composition is almost surreal.
Anyway that one picture is different than most.
I like it I like it !!

Thanks Debbie .. I'm only messin' with girl ... hehehehe. I know most Americans "think" we are "northern Americans" ? LOL
I'll be over to check up on you, keep you on the straight and narrow ;-) haha

Cindee girl .. thanks : )it is amazing at times to see what the camera saw that you didn't see ? and how much it fills up .. I'm still in shock though ? haha

gittan .. I can't remember what the name is for these little guys, but yes they are plentiful around here .. so are loads of bugs at the moment .. rainy humid weather .. I hate that kind of weather .. I'm eternally garteful for the person who invented AC !!: )

Patsi girl .. I love the really dark ones as I have .. I'm on the look out for more .. "Sparkler" isn't dark but a different shade of pink along with variegated foliage makes it an outstanding cone flower .. they will be blooming soon so I hope the get lots of pictures of them !

Before I had a digital camera I only took pictures on holiday. Now I look at everything with my blog in mind and take loads and loads on the off chance I might use them.
You have some lovely flowers there - the cone flowers are particularly attractive.

It's so easy to go into photo overload in summer, especially when you have so many wonderful things happening in your garden. Your 'Gilt Edge' Tricyrtis is way ahead of mine, which doesn't even have buds yet. It is a wonderful plant.

Hi Janet .. Thank you !
Toad Lily is such a different flower isn't it ? like an orchid almost .. weird little creatures that they are : )

Thank you EG .. isn't that true about using a standard film camera ? you wouldn't ever take so many pictures that we do with a digital one .. thank god some one invented this ?? LOL

Hello there MMD .. I thought it was rather early to bloom myself .. I have another TL that is about 3 feet high and no buds yet .. do you think I can find the tag for that one ?? jeez ! LOL
I'm sure I have taken so many more pictures this year than last year .. I'm not sure why but talk about over load .. YIKES !!!

Hi Joy~~

You may have a ton of photos but it looks like you've got some fabulous ones. I love the dark coneflowers too. My 'Fatal Attraction' is just about to bloom. I don't have 'Merlot' but I'm thinking I'd better head over to the nursery...

A few months ago, I found a Toad Lily on sale. The lower leaves tend to be susceptible to rust so I'm constantly removing them. I suppose I should get the fungicide. Gazing at your photo reminds me that the maintenance will be worth it.

Joy, I tried to go outside to photograph and the mosquitoes chased me inside...so bring on as many as you want to share. The Toad lily is so lovely...mine hasn't any bloom at all!

Hi Grace .. thanks girl ! .. I have a total weakness for dramatic dark cone flowers .. but Sparkler is another one I totally love too, even though it isn't dark but it certainly has my attention with the variegated foliage and that different "pink' to the flower itself.
I can also have a problem with rust on the toad lily .. those flowers bit me though, so I struggle with the bad side to get the GOOD ? LOL

Gail girl .. I can sympathize with the mosquito problem .. I get bitten early morning when I take pictures .. they are horrible little creatures I wish they didn't love my thin skin so much and just remain food for the birds ? haha
I'm amazed at how early this toad lily has bloomed too .. I wonder if it is alright ?? haha

Your photos are lovely, as always, Joy! I like your comparison of snowflakes on pine in that one photo -- Christmas in July? Hee! Looks like things are doing very well in your part of Ontario!

Hello there Nanacy girl and thank you ! : )
You know how there always seems to be that funny thing about Xmas sales in July .. but it makes me look in the garden for something along the season connection and Sprite against the Mugho pine was "it" ! LOL

Hello there Rosey .. Hey I love that name ! perfect gardener name : )
Thank you .. it surprised me about the number of pictures I had on the memory card ..I was sure 375 was the capacity and I blew that one ? LOL

Yes, THE QUIET! That is why I get up at 5 a.m. Nobody is bugging, exept real garden bugs. As for the picture overload... Digital cameras made it so easy to take them! I always think - I'll keep only the best, but somehow I never delete those which are not the best! My computer got tired telling that I have very low virtual memory... Well, not only virtual, all my memory is low... Anyway, your blooms are great! The toad lily won my heart! Keep showing your pictures, Joy!

Tatayana girl .. you described how I am perfectly ! it is amazing that we all have that common thread to us .. loving our gardens the way we do and this picture obsession thing .. I work from my lap top , we do have a full PC system in the family room , but my lap top is mine alone so it is my "space" ? LOL and YES ! it is groaning from all of the pictures .. so I have to take some off and put them on a CD .. my memory is TERRILBE too ! ;-)
