A little white in your life ?

I'm over loaded .. overloaded from a bit too much work in the garden and in the house .. over loaded with way too many pictures to make a logical sane choice as to what I want to post about .. I'm sure I heard the snap, crackle, pop with a side order of smoke to some brain cells that just up and left having had enough of the whole situation ?
Some times you just have to stop and look at the smaller pictures in life .. to actually enjoy them instead of trying to categorize them .. assess ? their value and importance in files that are groaning with way too many blurry, or really and truly NOT that good enough to keep .. yet I'm having such a hard time deleting them .... are you getting my drift here ?

So it is time to just look at and enjoy some of the smaller pictures ...
I planted a pretty white astilbe .. japonica "Deutschland" and it has amazed me with how much brighter this little spot in the garden has become already.
Such pretty 'buds" that feather out to make a beautiful flower head.
This is another darker part of the garden with another white astilbe .. but I would have to dive into my tag box to find out which one it is .. see ? not organized at all this year ; (
I have also become strongly attached to some white lavender I planted last year ? .. the funny thing is I don't even remember planting white lavender .. although I bet there is a tag in last years box .. I must look that up some time ?

White is such a pretty contrast to other plants in the garden .. I know there is the concept of a "Moonlight Garden" I would love to have enough room to dedicate it to white plants only .. but being out in the moonlight enjoying it .. well .. I would never make it out that late, plus ... I dread bumping into BUGS at night ?? Some gardener eh ? ; )

That part about bumping into bugs, and not ever being out in the garden late at night, well, that could be me. LOL.

Maybe we need to plan a early morning sunrise garden? Wouldn't that be pretty, all golds, ambers, yellows, oranges....

I have lots of white blooms or white foliage in my garden. Sure love the astilbe. White makes everything else pop.

I know what you mean by being overloaded, I am feeling the same way.

I love your white in the garden(-: I seem to not have luck with astilbe )-: To hot here maybe? I do have a moon flower though and this is the first time! I love seeing the blooms(-: I guess its actually a weed but I think its awesome! I love white flowers in the garden and I like to mix them up through out so it adds a little contrast!(-:

Jen girl ! I'm so glad some one else has my "phobia" too ? LOL .. It seems ridiculous to be that way and still call myself a "gardener" ? I should be afriad of bugs right ? LOL
YES ! A sunrise garden is a perfect idea :: )

Hey Janet ... that is what I think too ! .. white is the perfect contrast and highlight to show off other plants .. astilbe is one of my favorites : )

Keewee .. You are too ? I think maybe it is the time of year when everything is so busy and you feel stretched to the limit ? ; )

Cindee girl .. I think you might be right about it being so hot, dry thing .. I have a moonflower vine popping out in a planter with that "chocolate" morning glory too and I am so hoping for some pretty blooms with it .. I don't think it is a weed at all girl .. have you posted pictures of it that I missed I wonder ?

Hello there Karen .. thank you girl ! ; )

White is wonderful in the garden. I have that Deutschland and it is a real good performer. Never seen a white lavender but I can see how you are attached to it. It's wonderful to get a bit of white in the summer.

White lavender... I haven't figured out yet if I like the lime-green lavender that I saw during the last garden tour, and now this one! You people don't make my life easier!

I'm getting more and more fond of white flowers - they can be enjoyed during daylight as well - with or without bugs...

Tina girl I have a thing for splashes of white .. the lavender is a surprise to me of how beautiful it really is .. astilbe is an easy choice because they look lovely always !

Tatyana .. I haven't seen the lime green lavender yet ! Now that would be something out of the ordinary .. I still love the look of Munstead as the true violet/blue ? lavender .. i have quite a few Provence ones that are maturing so I hope to cut all the wonderful long flower buds and dry them .. love to have that scent over the long hard winter : )

Katarina .. I hope to enjoy all of my flowers without bugs if at all possible girl ! LOL
