Green Relief New Year !

Here it is 2010 .. do you feel "different" coasting into this new decade ? ..
What about New Year "resolutions" ? .. I'd like to smack the person who invented that idea !!

This post is a "green relief " wish for your new year ..
I wish everyone a garden year to remember with great satisfaction and happiness .. and if it happens to spill over to your personal life .. well then .. all the better : )
Enjoy yourself ! .. whether you have an actual garden, or a little potted oasis .. feel that positive affect plants and caring for them has on us as "keepers of the green"
GardenJoy : )

No resolutions for me, in fact I don't even stay up to see the New year in ... guess I'm just a boring, old person now. I much prefer the early morning to watch the sun rise, and the birds awake and come to the feeders. Lots of 'green' wishes sent your way for a prosperous new year.

Yeah, I don't do resolutions. They never seem to work out. Mine are more like goals... Happy new year!

I was remembering last night when it was going to be 2000! Everyone was in a panic that the world would stop.(-: Buying up food to store etc. And yes we were at the store buying up food then too...lol Funny how that went off without a hitch(-:
Happy New Year of gardening to you! I hope that your garden grows more beautiful this year if that is possible!!! It is already most awesome...well not at this moment probably but you know what I mean...
You should see mine! OMG its covered in leaves and whatever, all the dead leaves of plants still attached, the frost damage etc...its a total disaster area!!! LOL

Where do you always manage to find such beautiful vintage cards? Is that heather flowers, or berries at the bottom?

What lovely green wishes. Enjoying yourself is a very good one. When it becomes a job instead of an enjoyment your overworking it. LOL.
I am with Tayana when you find them let me know too. I feel a gang attack coming on.I do not make them. Why should I set myself up for failure in a new beginning. ;-)
Looking forward to gardening with you this new year.

Don't do resolutions either and I don't particularly feel any 'different' anytime the new year rolls in. Except, I do think 2010 has a nice ring to it. It's a cool number don't you think ?

Best wishes for the New Year, Joy ! And that includes an awesome gardening season. :)

Same to you Joy!

I stopped worrying about resolutions and changed to just listing garden projects I'm looking forward to tackling. I can't wait to get digging this year but 18 degree mornings tell me it's not time yet! ;)

Happy New Year Joy! No resolutions here either, I think most of them end up broken. I know I won't exercise more or eat less junk food :)

Yes! Very excited to be entering into a new decade. Though, I'm taking my good old time with new year's resolutions (seeing as how one of my '09 resolutions is not scheduled to be done until March, 2010!)

hello there! How are you today?
Well, I'm a bit sad about the pumpkin plant, I'm seriously thinking about killing it...I was told it will take over all the greenhouse, as it is a very small one. I'm not sure, what do you think I should do? Is it ok to keep cutting the branches and leaves to control its space?

Cheers!

Ricky Luz said...

Oh my! Sophie is just like my last cat! Absolutely similar, and its very rare to see a cat just like her. Didi I tell you Im thinking about killing my pumpkin...someone told me is gonna take over the greenhouse, im concerned...Cheers
