Shadow Shot Time

Can this be Shadow Shot time so quickly again ? .. I know .. why ask that question when we all know the answer !! .. OK .. I will try and not ask ridiculous questions .. but they tend to slip out of me all the same .. BIG sigh !
This however is a fun time .. we are "Shadow Shooters" and I'm sure everyone of us look at things differently ever since we have joined Tracy @ Hey Harriet .. where you will see the shadow shots for today/tomorrow ?
This is an "iron" trivet, made of brass .. I found it at a flea market and of course .. after leaving with just one ?
I am kicking myself for not buying a few more ..
Buyer's remorse in reverse ? wink wink

Ooh, I have been on a trivet-finding mission for a month or so now. Unsuccessfully. I need something other than stained potholders for my holiday table. Yours is very pretty!

What a shame you didn't more. They looks so pretty.

Love the way you captured the subtle but elegant shadow.

Happy SSS and enjoy the week-end.

This is a very beautiful trivet! Delightful design and love how it is raised slightlu from the shape of its shadow!

I like that! I couldn't tell you the amount of times I've kicked myself for not picking up more cool finds from markets when I had the chance! So I know exactly what you mean! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Shadows were hard to come by all week for me, who wants to venture out in this frosty place...I'm a summer girl, let the days fly by till our gardens flourish again. I'm planting wild sumac this coming year, the birds so love it and I love it in the fall with it's scarlet leaves...stay warm up there!!!

That is a nice looking trivet! I have a few that were my mother-in-law's. I also seem to collect the ones that look like they are woven or something, too.

I forgot to say something about how cool your leaf is. I enjoyed seeing it on your wall as well as in your header.

Hey Sue ! Thanks girl .. I am kicking myself for not getting more from that vender at the flea market .. isn't that usually the way it goes ? haha
My husband was so taken by that shot it amazed me, not that he doesn't like my photography but that picture was HIS ! LOL
