Moving on ......

Well as you can see I have "rushed" into the next "holiday" by way of my blog design ...
I just can't seem to help myself, trying to convince Spring that if she doesn't hurry up a few of us northern gardeners might just lose the plot ? as my UK friends would say.
Mean while ......
Costco has brought out the garden gloves .. soon the summer bulbs and bare root plants will seduce me even though I have sworn not to be magnetized by those luscious pictures of such plant happiness potential ... well ... plant seduction is a tricky thing isn't it ? GRIPPING !!!
Lowes opened late last month FINALLY ... and our first object of desire was this copper top and bottom finch feeder .. it some how "quenched" a bit of garden thirst, so I am HAPPY : )
Alas we have been honored by some blue sky in between the weird and wacky swings in temps and weather .. rain one day .. freezing the next ... but that is Canada .. aka the GWN !
Spring ? she will come when she is good and ready ... no matter how desperate we get ;-)

I see you are getting the gardening frame of mind..it can be a dangerous thing when all those plants start showing up at the stores...

I am planning to change my blog header picture to something without snow, as soon as I find time. I'm tired of posting snow/winter events - on to spring!

Oh my goodness - I love that copper feeder! I just heard yesterday we are getting a Lowes here - I will have to check it out.

Love the header and the festive new background.:)

Your blog background is cheerful. I think I need a little retail therapy too. Maybe I will get out to see what is being shipped. I could see that Lowes was cleaning out their garden area outside today. Spring will come soon.

Joy, I do love this header, maybe because it's Irish!

Beautiful blue sky. I understand the unrest of waiting for Spring. I did clean up some of my gardening pots {that's how I garden}. I plan to plant "taters" in the next couple days & cool weather veggies to follow.

Hello there Darla girl .. it is a wild ride to be in that garden frame of mind with so much time to put in yet with the last dregs of winter .. and YES !! It will be a dangerous time when those plants hit the garden centers ;-)

Bonnie that is exactly how I felt .. I had a valentine's theme way too early and I so needed a change to something green, even if it is another holiday theme ? LOL

Lona girl we are in the Irish frame O'Mind eh ? hehehe .. we have a long way to go yet. They are forecasting more snow early next week .. but our weather people have been wrong more often than right ?!
I'm hanging in girl .. by my stubby garden fingers ! wink wink

Ms.S : ) don't you just love it ? We just had to get it .. our official first purchase at this new Lowes store : ) Check out if yu are getting one too ? It was a long time coming .. the city fought it for ages (stupid city officials make building anything ridiculously hard here as it is .. they don't like competition either !) Thanks girl .. had to have some GREEN!

Lisa girl you do NEED some garden retail therapy : ) just DO IT girl!
It will be a while before we see activity in the garden center there .. the snow is still "king of the hill"! haha but I am so excited:-)

Sandy girl we all need to have a dose of garden therapy right ? Seeds unless direct sow are just not safe with me ! hahaha

Eileen girl when yo have a name like O'Connor (my maiden name is Scottish) you just have to bring the green out as soon as possible ? LOL .. having o' wee bit of auburn hair makes it even better ? hehehe

Lola you lucky girl ! hey I have read about so many cool ideas on how to grow veggies in pots .. it is amazing what can be done now .. almost has me thinking in that direction .. but mainly I do herbs .. I am a huge fan of herbs in pots even now they make me smile thinking of that wonderful scent: )

I love your new header photo and your shamrock background, Joy! VERY springlike and I'm sure they will help to bring spring along quite nicely. Hope so, anyway. :)

Lose the plot indeed!! I'm glad you found a few new items to brighten your day. Nothing like a little retail (garden) therapy. :)
