Shadow Shot Sky

It is a full on RAIN weekend and the surprise of the weather forecast actually following through is shocking !!
Do I mind the rain ? hell no ;-) it means that the snow will be shrinking considerably and that makes me a happy gardener by all means !
But shadow shots are slim pickings here so I aimed my camera sky wards and too a bit of an unusual look at it .. an almost black and white theme here but I think you get the light and dark of it all : )
Now head on over to Tracy's place Hey Harriet and have a gander at those terrific shots the shadow shooters have caught !

Very clever way to get a shadow shot, Joy. :) I have done the same at times. Hope the sun shines for you soon!

I really love your header shot. so cool. and the sky you've given up for shadow shot? really rather remarkable because it shows your hope and I love that. really truly beautiful. happy SSS and have a wonderful coming week!

This is a great shot! If we use our imaginations, this cloudy sky shot can be turned upside down to evoke the snow on the ground. The illusion is a fun result of your picture. The snow near long Island Sound is receding nicely - Spring awaits!

A lovely shadow-shot sky. What a good idea!
I wish it were warm enough to rain here, but no such luck, so the snow remains, and more comes down.

Some eerie looking clouds there! I'm not a big fan of rain but at least my garden appreicates it. If I had snow to contend with I'd probably be more fond of the rain like yourself!

Re the box jellyfish warning...yeah we have lots of nasty critters over here. A big brown snake just slithered in front me as I was walking to the shop before. These creatures keep us on our toes. Never a dull moment :)

PS....I loved your comment you left for me...[and commented below yours] about your take on humanity this morning!!! And, I'm in total agreement.

That pouring rain turned to snow overnight and left everything white again. Well, thinking positivie, at least a lot of the snow got washed away with the rain so today's snow cover isn't as deep.

Anni girl I was in such a MOOD this morning you got the full swing of it over there and more ? LOL .. glad you agree girl : )

Linda this seems like such a long cold dragged out end of winter I think we are all going to go NUTS when some good weather does hit?
