I'm not really one for contests but I saw Darla's (More Family and Flowers) picture and thought why not ? .. in between the "madness" of my garden frenzy I should stop and enjoy my pictures right ? .. so this is for GGW May contest which is "Lighting a Closer Look""“Light makes photography. When I saw the tip of the morning sun kiss this hellebore .. well I thought it was just beautiful .. but that is my opinion as the plant's mom ? haha

I'll second that! I so enjoy your images, Joy. I hope you're having a nice spring. We're finally getting spring. I've been away for a bit- my dad had a stroke, but he is well now- walking around with a scratchy throat like it never happened! My garden actually did quite well in my absence and I picked a garden fresh salad this morning :)

I really do feel like all of my plants are "kids" and I have to keep them in line and looking good!
