Shadow Shot Time

This is a very simple picture for Shadow Shot time ... life gets so complicated and hurried and detailed .. enough to make you crazy and exhausted and simply depleted of all your energy, or what you have of it anyways ? wink wink
So .. I thought something very simple yet pretty would do for this time.
If you enlarge it you can see some tiny flies sitting on the leaves , leaving their own shadows to mix with this wonderful "Gold Heart" bleeding heart plant .. a new addition this year and I am loving it : )
If you are a shadow person .. you have to visit Hey Harriet, a blog hosted by Tracy that allows us all to gather and show off our shadow sides to our nature : ) .. wander over there now!!

Where have the days gone? it's Shadow Shot time again. I seem to have been busy this week, especially the end of it and not much of that time has been with the camera.
I love your simple shadow photo today. Bleeding hearts are a wonderful addition to the garden.

Sometimes less is more, great photo! Hey, will Sam find out he is Tucker's son or not?

What a lovely shade of green. Very soothing with the shadows on it.

Sometimes we need to relax by simplifying things. The simple shrub has a quiet look, the sunlight not too brilliant, the shadow not too dark. The simplicity is so unhurried, the day beautiful - and our day now far less cluttered!

Those little fellows are just siting in anticipation.
I've always wanted to have one of these plants. I think they are so pretty.

Hello Linda girl and how true is that?!! We need some simple down time more often as we get older .. haha Thank you : ) .. I didn't think I would like Gold Heart but it is a beauty!

Hello Darla girl.. yup, some times less is a lot more than we realize!
Oh I think in a few weeks .. when Tucker is back from "vacation" the snooping will begin ! haha

Hello Lisa girl : )green comes in so many different shades and intensity we are all bound to find one that suits us right ? ;-)

Ralph you have worded it exactly as it should be, simply, yet totally encasing all the variations we could possibly require. Well done !
We can all use a less cluttered day can't we : )

Hello Karen girl : ) Thank you !
I got a kick out of those tiny flies and their shadows .. icing on the cake? LOL

Lola I hesitated because I wasn't sure of that "gold" colour .. it is more greenish right now .. but it is a beautiful soft gold when it glows .. so I would recommend it highly : )

Simple and sweet! Looks so cool and perfect, must not have bug-eating plants and high humidity up there!

Freda girl we are getting a small break from our humidity and BUG eating plants .. believe me girl, we have our share of it here too!
But those small breaks make it easier to catch a breath and relax for a day or so .. today i have to crack the whip and get some garden work done !!

Christine girl thank you ! I had to take a few days off but hopefully back at the garden grind today to get some work that is badly needed done .. mean while a cool calm collected picture to relax with?LOL

LOL Cassie now that you have been TOLD to relax .. you better be relaxing !! haha .. those cool shadows do tend to have that affect on us eh ? : )

Thank you EG : ) I just pulled it out of my hat ? LOL

Thanks chubskulit .. having a garden gives me lots to work from for shots : )

Arija it is actually a dicentra spectabilis "Gold Heart" aka common name "Bleeding Heart" but I would love to have a tree peony too!LOL

Thank you Tatjana : ) we need simple and relaxing don't we? especially in the peak of summer and all of its madness ? wink wink

Hey thanks Anni girl .. and yes .. green and pale yellow seems to be a comfort zone type of colour pallet .. if you are a gardener, you HAVE to love green !! haha

Yours looks so much better then mine does right now. It grows in a pot, and around this time, it's just too hot on the deck for it.

But, that said, I am so glad to know that when we move it will be happy in it's new garden. I wasn't sure if it would survive.

Mine was a B day present from a employer years ago.

Very nice. It looks like it was taken on a cool summer night. Very relaxed feeling.

Funny what blogger/google is doing to me. On some blogs I'm signed in(like yours) and on others and even my own I'm not and have to type the URL to post. Wacky !

Hello Joan and thank you very much!

Hi Kay girl and thank you so much! Sometimes simple is what we need eh? LOL

Thanks Patsi girl and Blogger is one weird force of its own .. no one can really tell what the heck is going on at times !! TB was good last night !

Hello Beverly girl : ) it is too hot and humid and my garden is a mess .. things seemed to jump way ahead of me for being on the dry side .. eeuuwww !!

Beautiful picture. Bleeding hearts are great plants - I added one to my garden earlier this season, but it has mostly died back now.

Nice work with the soft contrast. Made it all the more beautiful.

Hello RP and thank you for stopping by : ) .. I actually can keep the foliage going almost all season .. mature plants seem to want to cling on longer so that helps too .. I only wish they would keep flowering like some of the newer fern leaf dicentra.
But I will take what I can get : )

Hello VP : ) Nicknames are easier for me ? LOL .. Thank you! It seemed to be the perfect shot for the day .. an easier one for me!
