Shadow Shot Time

Well it is a rain day today so I have to borrow a shot I took from yesterday of my trusty snail .. he never lets me down when an emergency shadow shot has to be nailed for the day. Naturally he can't escape me too quickly either ?
Tracy over at her world famous shadow shot blog Hey Harriet is shepherding us all in to display our special shots for this day .. so visit her, and visit the world in shadow !

Aren't you glad you have such a trustworthy friend as the snail? :-)

SHADOW BOLD

Shadow bold and shadow bright,
Shadow with me day and night,
Shadow taller than a tree,
Tell me what you think of me!

This mollusk seems alive in the sun, as I wonder if it is faster easier to enter the shell vs. migrating to the cooler shade. Naturally, you keep him fed and content, why would he even try to escape you and your camera??

You do know that snail comes alive at night and moves about, don't you?
I've returned back to Wisconsin from my 4 week trip to New Mexico. It actually feels good to wear a sweatshirt!
Hopen you see the sun again soon. Nice shadowy shot. I wonder why the snail stopped there?

Peace
