Surprise Breakfast Guest in the Garden !

We had a surprise visitor yesterday morning .. I was trying to take his/her picture as quietly as possible so as not to spook the poor thing .. which husband remarked "that is the guy that has been vacuuming the seeds up !
I think you can see why the "vacuum" word was used .. he/she doesn't want to miss a drop !
Seems to me that this look is one of slighty "annoyed" ? because who wants to be watched THAT closely when eating  ? .. I sure don't !
Then the shyness wore off and I could just about hear .. "is this profile shot better ? " giggle
We had a rabbit visit us earlier this year .. clover was the big draw then .. I wonder if it is the same one? ..
I had to sneak one more shot of Morden Sunrise as it totally opened up it's arms and smiled largely !
Part two of garden clean up happened yesterday .. I still have to get pots back into the shed .. husband had a grand day playing with his leaf "sucker-upper-mulcher" thingy .. go figure .. guys and their toys!

The bunny looks very healthy! Beautiful bloom. If the boys want to play with their toys, as long as they are garden related, I say go for it!

I am jealous! We live in the country, at the edge of a woods, and I have NEVER seen a wild rabbit. Don't you live in town???

I've got about one hundred of his buddies over here. We have not had a frost yet, so I keep putting off finishing the garden clean up. I've got my carex grasses to cut down on the north side and some trimming of the very tall rose bushes.

I hope he doesn't decide that he needs a little vegetable with his seeds.

Hello there Mr. Extreme and thanks for dropping by ! I was reading some of your blogs and couldn't agree more with what you were saying .. what would the human race do without being "told" ? LOL

Eileen girl I still have a lot to do myself .. this was just one part of the whole program .. one of my mail order company sent me replacements for the Colour Flash astilbe that died on me .. so now I have to find a good home for them!

Lisa girl : ) it is fine with me if he eats some garden plants .. they seem to like hyssop .. no problem .. I don't grow veggies, so I'm not worried PHEW !!! LOL

Oh yes. Guys and their toys. :) Your little bunny visitor is adorable. I wasn't aware they had a taste for bird seed though. I'm just glad he chose it rather than some prized tasty green thing, of which you have many. :)

Gracie girl I have to love the fact that this boy toy is beneficial for me in some ways .. who would have known that men like to vacuum the lawn ?? LOL
There is a bit of corn in that seed mix .. sunflower seeds as well .. I was surprised too, but hey I don't mind munching on the garden plants .. they type they like such as the hyssop is good with me: )
