Is it Friday already ?

Sky pictures are still rare finding any thing interesting to post about .. I did a (Jen girl this is for you ) WarmFly on these two pictures to be able to see the jet and jet trail better.
It was a hard frost yesterday .. the first of December .. no snow ... yet ?
My kale has been unbelievable ! No matter what the weather is like .. what the frost does to it ...
It still looks amazing and colourful !
Well .. the boys are happy not to be covered in snow .. but .. Dave's mushroom ... well that crack is gaping a little larger ? he is not a happy garden gnome !!
I couldn't resist some of the sparklies on the deck ..
So that is for Friday follies ?

We are icy here in North FL. too. Our ornamental kale and cabbage soar right through the winter until mid spring. Yours looks beautiful.

The gang looks quite happy all gathered up for their winter vigil. We have had our first snow. It didn't stick of course because it is so warm here. Not warm warm but too warm for snow. have a great weekend.

Oh now that kale is gorgeous! I am going to get me some come spring. It's really weird without snow isn't it. We had a light dusting this morning but it's gone now. Have a great weekend Joy!

Poor Dave's mushroom. Couldn't you put something in the crack to help it stay? The boys look happy that the snow has helt off. Beautiful sky.

Hello there Darla girl : )
I hope my kale lasts as long as possible, like yours ? LOL
It is my first time so it is an adventure of the almost gardening nature ? wink wink

Lisa girl how are ya' : )
It is an unnatural "warm" we had stay too long .. makes me nervous about what kind of winter we are really going to have ? eeekkkk !
Have a rested weekend girl !

Karen this year has been strange right from the get go .. so I am a bit tense ? about what winter will really be like .. fingers crossed we have a wonderful Spring to look forward to ? rest up girl !!

Lola girl, thank you ! .. I am guilty of not looking after Dave's crack .. I swear I will get some crack filler and fix him up in the Spring !!!

We have rain here this morning and my cabbages do not as good as yours. I have pots of pansies that still look great, think I will do more of these next fall.

Your kale really is unbelievable, I couldn't even get my seeds to germinate this year. Great containers.

Hello Eileen girl !
We have been in and out of rain ourselves .. it is very weird weather .. today it is clear but very windy.
Your Xmas decor is so beautiful (I have to keep saying that because it is !) .. My kale is Nagoya and I think it holds up better in bad weather .. I really like it too!

Lona girl hello there ! we are still snow free .. so far !
The kale is Nagoya, I bought them as starters .. not seeds .. I have no luck with seeds .. but yes ! they have stood up to a lot of weather abuse and keep looking great : ) Wish I could say the same thing ? haha

Marguerite girl thank you : )
I am just lucky to have gotten the Nagoya type .. I think it holds up better than the others .. I want to remember them for next year to !

Your kales do look incredible Joy. I bought one lousy plant this year but I can see they look better in groups. I'm jealous you haven't had any snow yet ~ we've been getting it right along since Oct 26th! Feels like it's been winter for quite a while and it's not even here yet.

Joy, so sorry I have been absent, but there is a good excuse, the move, settling in, and all that. Add to that only having a laptop, and the effort it takes to get that going...LOL.

Everytime I use Warmfly I feel like putting a little note that "it's for Joy." It's the perfect tone for this time of year.

I have some sky shots on my post today....oh the sun if beautiful.
