Today is another dark GRAY day here in Kingston .. I feel like a mole actually .. it has been so long without the sun .. I better start topping up the vitamin D !!
We were "iced" again .. twice this month .. but it is melting very quickly .. so I probably won't be able to get pictures darn it !
This picture was a while back .. I just liked the way the sun looked through our Maple's branches and then .. just for Jen of Muddy Boots (who just found their little nest finally) I added
"Warm Fly" wink wink !!

The ice rain has turned to rain now. Everything looks very slick. I might try to venture out in the garden but lack of sun will make for dull photos.

This lack of sun thing is beginning to wear on me, how about you ? LOL .. I know I am going to lose some English lavender .. I already see one that has turned black practically and slumped forward .. not good ! The temps are going down again so this rain may freeze all over again..eeekk!

Jenny I have no doubt that Texas will be basking in Spring soon .. as for us .. winter is still ready to blow us away I am sure .. the other shoe is going to drop ! LOL

Whoa! That fully embodies what it's like to be stuck in the winter. We're having a rare cloudy day here in Colorado and I don't like it one bit.
We have had rain all day. Now, the temperature is dropping.
That is a nice shot, and a change for the regular. It seems like we have had lots of dark sky days, too.
OMG ! Patricia it has been so long since we have had sunshine I can't remember when the last time was actually .. good thing you aren't living here girl, you would most certainly have cabin fever BIG time ? LOL
Sandy it is switching back between hard form rain(not quite ice) and snow .. but the temp is dropping so it is going to be really messy and scary driving out there .. Monday we might get to see a tiny bit of sun ? eeekk !

Oh Joy, that's so funny. We have this long running joke, did you know that I used "warm fly" on a few posts the week before. And then as I used it I thought to myself, I must remember to tell Joy. But I forgot.
I am quite taken with the shot, love it. Maybe it should go in the collection of enlargements for the office.
