Shadow Shot Time

I am craving something fresh and beautiful with a heavy hint ? of my garden in season.
The bonus of this past picture are the water droplets that sparkle like tiny diamonds and which also leave their shadows on the leaves.
It is dark and very windy out this morning .. so windy it is shaking the house a bit !
This is my embrace for warm sunny days in the garden ahead of me: )

At this time of year in the northern hemisphere, it's perfectly acceptable to dig into the archives for some greenery, 'cause we've had quite enough of "whitery," thank you!

Those droplets look like diamonds in the sunlight! We are itching to have the next two months go by so that we can start playing in the dirt as well!!

The day here is gray and it has been rainy - and cold. Unlike the warmer months. So the look of a plant's leaves in the green leaves with the accent of the sunny yellow sunny light. Cold - after viewing this, it is not so...

The perfect photo for what is certainly a dark day here. I think we're sitting through the same wind/snow/ice pellet/rain system.

As I gaze into this photo, I am finding more and more to look at, like the water drops you mention. Every shadow has another shadow and another. Pretty darn cool if you ask me! Makes me ready to plant, grow and harvest as well.

Peace

Hi Joy, Another great shadow shot! It is magical the way that tiny water droplets shine like diamonds in the sun.
We had those same winds yesterday and the day before. With all the creaking and groaning of the roof, it was like being in a ship at sea in our third floor attic/familyroom.
P.S. Thanks so much for the kind comment that you wrote on my 'Growing Old' post. I can identify with so much of what you say. I too have only one child, a son. He lives here though and so I do not have the heartbreak of distance. I enjoy pretty good health, but my husband is diabetic. I agree that there is a lot to be said for the wisdom to "Live for today".

That was wicked wind on Saturday wasn't it Joy? We lost hydro for almost 3 hours in the morning. Lots of branches and twigs all over the place. Lovely picture reminding me that spring is almost here.
