Shadow Shot Time

I have been missing my commiseration ? wink wink , with my "shadow shooter" friends .
I have been totally absorbed and exhausted with my garden demanding so much attention from me .. it is a VERY torrid love affair between my garden and I ... even to the point of total distraction with what is happening in the rest of the world let alone my blogger friends.
I want to contribute two shadow shots since I missed two of our postings.
Here is the subtle one .. but if you really look there are a few interesting details : )

This one I picked because it seemed a bit soothing in the shade and my friend the mask seems happy to be the "shade master" ? observing all the plants and how they are behaving ? wink wink

You also have to click the Shadow Shot icon to be transported to the wonderful and mysterious land of shadow shooters and what they have discovered to show us all this week ... don't be shy .. they won't bite!

These should put you into the good grace of your shadow shot buddies. Don't work too hard in this heat. Or is it hot where you are?? I think this heat dome has covered most of N America.

I guess it is not just a relationship - it is a commitment between you and your garden. A true labor of love! Shadows are a natural outgrowth (groan :) of the lovingly tended flora in your garden. Both of these views, like all of them, are wonderful. Keep on tending!

Hello Karen girl and thank you : )
I loved those chipmunk pictures they made me smile BIG time !

Lisa girl the heat dome has us covered as well .. I keep wishing for a good drenching rain and some cooler weather but so far a few drops and a lot of dragging the hose around phew!

MMT thank youso much .. I imagined my toes playing in that wonderful sandy dry stream .. maybe pushing that smooth round rock around too ! LOL

Bev girl those were cousin shadows you caught to what I almost posted too !

Dear Ralph I so enjoyed your family pictures of the BBQ .. I could almost catch that mouth watering aroma way up here ! LOL

Hello Dianne and thank you so much!
I bought that mask so long ago I can't remember where I got it .. but it does lend a presence to the garden in its own special way ;-)

thanks for stopping by joy. my thing on the crock was that the crack in it looked like it continued on into the post. the animation of the sun catcher was done in photoshop. learned how to do it from an ecourse that i am taking. your reward from your garden comes in the form of contentment and happiness in your soul...can't put money on that huh? here's to a beautiful sun-filled week! and just enough rain to keep us growing!! xx. robin.

Thanks Robin girl .. I guess my head was in humour land .. now I am thinking "cracked crock" as in nutter? LOL .. I think I need to take some of those e-courses over the winter to keep me from going stir crazy ! LOL
YES !!! we need rain and none is in sight so it is going to be one long hot DRY summer here .. yuck !
