Shadow Shot Time !

White Licorice rose has been trying it's best to show off for me.
It has worked ! .. I chose this picture I took a few days ago because it not only has shadows but tiny reflections of light from the water droplets .. I didn't see them at first .. then I had to gasp because it was rather amazing to me.
I hope you can see them too ? .. and I also hope you click on the icon to see other amazing shadow shots from my fellow shadow shooters : )

That is really stunning! I love the droplets. Do you use a tripod? I just can't seem to stay still enough, but it's such a drag to have to use one.

Beautiful photo Joy. Isn't it wonderful when you take a photo for one thing and then discover you captured something else?

This looks like sunshine from your garden - a yellow so strong that it feels like a sunny noon near the ground. Shadows from within and without, this si a wonderful Saturday/Sunday post. Brilliant!

Stunning, and I love the shadows...

Why have my roses stopped blooming if it's so hot at your place, that can't be the reason.

Hello Leslie : )Thank you !
I want to get some good tripods .. I don`t have any at the moment .. but each camera I have has mechanics that help eliminate shake as much as possible .. and I do shake!

Linda girl that is true about almost every picture I take .. there are hidden surprises that delight me : )

Dear Ralph : ) Thank you so much .. funny enough it is supposed to be a white rose but this is its first year .. so I will have to wait and see what happens !

Thank you very much Sylvia .. I do love the droplets too and didn`t really see their affect until I saw the downloaded picture : )

Thank you so much Gemma .. I know in the dead of winter I will NEED to look at photos like this ... a lot ! LOL

Jen girl thank you .. but YES ! this heat does stop the roses for a while .. this one is a fluke ..but yours will pick up again when it gets a little cooler !

What a gorgeous shot Joy girl. You are doing good with that new camera. I hope you never get any of those Blister Beetles on your anemones. All I have is stems.:(

Joy, three colors yellow, orange and white play with shadow on your photo.
