Oh how pretty Joy. I planted a vine this summer but it died like some other plants here. I hope you got some rain.

WOW, this is a beauty. Does it live outside all year long?? I must know what it is if it does. Happy WW.

Lovely! Is that Passiflora incarnata or a different species?

Yes, it's sadly that only zone 9, so pretty passiflora.

Hello Lona girl : )
We are under clouds and a bit of thunder right now but no rain so far .. I was running around in my flashy night-wear switching some plants around the garden .. I didn't intend to do it but it felt so nice and cool out there .. what can I say ? LOL

Patsi girl how are you !!
I am SO not impressed with this years episodes .. total disappointment ... they better not kill off Eric because he is the only one I like ! LOL

Jen girl .. you being speechless worries me ! LOL

Hello Lisa girl .. I added the type it is and zone (9) after I posted it.. sadly zone 9 .. it is a summer treat I get for my husband because he likes them so much .. and this one has fragrance so added bonus .. only wish it was hardy for here!

Darla girl hello there .. it does have a gorgeous purple doesn't it ?
I'm good ... plodding along ;-)

Lucja-Maria hello there Thank you very much : )

Hello Rebecca (thanks again for letting me know about those bulbs!) it is "Incense' and has fragrance .. one I haven't had before .. it is one of the better ones I have tried so I will look for it again next year!

Nadezda girl you would think by now they could breed one as nice as this that is hardy to our zones ?LOL

There should be rules about posting such a beautiful bloom and then immediately telling us it's Zone 9. I mean really Joy... you're killing me. (jk)

STUNNING photo, Joy!! It also qualifies for SSS2 - look at that tiny shadow on the bamboo stake - quite a marvel!
Had no idea you were a TB fan. I agree that Eric must live! And that I hope they bagged all this season's writers. They need to start fresh. :)

Too pretty to lose, guess you'll have to over winter it as a houseplant. Maypop passiflora is hardy to zone 5,have you tried it?

Carolyn you had such a wonderful post on the little quail family ! I loved reading it and even better seeing those pictures : ) Sorry to tempt you badly like that .. hey, I don't get to keep it either girl .. haha

Christine girl thank you ! I absolutely loved the shot of that rocky coast with the few trees growing on just rock! amazing !!
TB .. I had no idea you were a fan either .. and yes!! those writers have to be fired for this season's crappy episodes !

Andrea girl what is happening in your world ???

Hey there Robin girl .. I did try Maypop but it didn't stick .. I don't know if I can try this as a houseplant .. I have zero luck with houseplants .. now isn't that funny?

Very pretty. I love how hundred of crooked little fingers splay out in each direction. A work of art.

Gracie girl that is what John said as soon as he saw the first bloom .. the detail of all those crooked fingers ! LOL
