It is past mid November and the Provence lavender still looks wonderfully green ..
I love the contrast of the dry leaves against the still, very lush lavender.
The shadows are more subtle .. tiny leaves against each other ... then the background in not so subtle complete shadow.

The lavender is lovely, with shadows as accents!
Tangled Desert Tree
That is a nice shadow shot Joy. All of my lavender dies our last winter in one of the mildest. Go figure??? Have a wonderful weekend my friend. Oh by the way I loved the email. LOL
What a lovely shadow shot for the day! I love the lavender!! Great composition! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
I like this seasonal view, the fallen leaves contrasting with the lavender still green and full of warmth and shadow. Winter is about to encroach yet the sun feels so noce here!
i like the subtle shadows, very much like my post this week
much love...
Such pretty lighting on the living and the "dry life" of Nature!
Your shadow shot is nice as always and the lavender fragrance is nice too, I suppose.
Lovely shadows. I have never been able to get lavender to grow here. I wonder if it is too wet in my garden?? One of gardening's mysteries.
It's those tiny details that make a shot. That shade of green is fabulous!
Hi Joy, I have not had great success with lavender, but am determined to keep trying. Your Provence lavender does look very green and healthy even in November. I like the quote in your header. The mail-order review page is a great idea by the way. Its great to know who does a great job of delivering the goods.
Thank you all for dropping by! ..
I have tried to visit each and every one of you at your own little nest of a blog too : )
Such a resilient plant!
Late visit from Shadow Shots Sunday. Here's my link to Indoor Plants Shadow
Your comment will be greatly appreciated.
I adore lavender and YES mine too is still hanging in there even though we've had a first snowfall!
It does look very green. You almost wouldn't know it was November! I haven't ventured into my garden this last week, no idea what colour it is anymore. Just too darn cold out there now.
