Shadow Shot Time

I missed last SSS ... January seems to suck the life out of us here up north ... yet time flies by before we know it .. one of the universe's jokes on us ?
So .. I have scrambled to shoot two shadows this week when we had some very bright sun .. almost too bright to bear .. I think we are more like mole people this time of year ?
The top picture being very bold and geometric  ... straight lines and angles every where .. plus a gardener's shows  .. how did that happen when no gardening is going on ?
The next picture much softer and subtle ... captured from inside the warm cozy house.
Go on a little around the world trip and see so many interesting and beautiful "takes" on shadows captured by my fellow shadow shooters : ) Click on the icon and away you fly!

I do love your shadow shots for the day!! The first one reminds mo of the deck at the house where we lived several years ago! I'm having trouble finding any sunshine, too!! Lots of fog and COLD! Hope you have a great weekend!! Stay warm!

Such strong sunlight...what is sun? I think we saw a little teeny bit the other day.. nothing like you have.

I have some new plants to add to my list of must haves.

You will love this Alchemillia the pearl, and it takes drought.

Oh, I really like the photo captured from inside the house. Where else could one feel so safe and snug on a wicked winter's day?

Definitely one of the mole people right now. Lack of light and warmth has me curled up round the clock not wanting to move much.

Love all the sharp angles and lines in the shadowy porch shot. Yes, very geometric. I know what you mean about "mole people" too. I think its part from the glare off the snow and we really do get accustom to low or little sun light, and basically our pupils freak out! Have a great rest of the weekend.
Cheers,

Wonderful shadows!
I like the first one the best, but the second one has a certain mystery about it that I like, too.
Have a great day!

The deck looks almost barren without your GWN snow. It almost feels like Spring - which will occur soon, hopefully soon enough! Cold can be thought of a s a tate of mind - this post feels warm...nice!

Just like us Europeans. Moles in EU... can't be better §:-)I can't see your drown in snow, yet? Unlike us. -22 below Zero? Mama Mia...

How's my great Canadian friend? Yeah! we both had a busy start of the year.
But, we have to relax though. Life is not just blogging. There are lots to do out there and then when we have the time? Then we can bring them to blogging. Interesting.

Hope you have a great w/end. Hope you browse down my post so you will enjoy all my table settings.

Hugs,
/CC girl

It looks like you don't have any snow either, Joy; at least the sun makes an appearance to brighten up these gloomy days. Thanks for stopping by to visit. I had a few minutes this morning (day off) to read a few blogs and was surprised to see I had so many new comments. Most of them, however, were spammers promoting a casino! I guess I'd better check on my blog every so often, or people will think I'm running a gambling site:)
