I have to move it this Spring and I hope to heaven it takes the re-positioning well , I love it to bits !

Not familiar with that plant. Probably because it would not grow in Texas. You did a super job on capturing it in all the shadows.

You've mentioned this shrub before but I don't think I've ever seen a close up of it. I love the very rounded leaves and the idea of the changing colours. I'll have to look for photos of this throughout the season to see the variation.

Hey Joy. Nice shadow shot, love that plant. Joy, I am so disappointed. You know how I have loved your garden and studied it intensely. I bought my first heuchera last summer because of all the lovely color you get from them in your garden. I just went out and it looks like mine died. It had leaves on it last month, but now it's just a stub. We had a bit of warm weather, then it dropped to the 20's a couple of nights. perhaps they don't take the warming and then back to cold? I could have cried! I think the one I had was Caramel. Oh well, guess that's the breaks. I just don't know if I should try another one. What do you think? Have you ever had one die like that? I know our climate is so very different. I'm sure yours disappear completely, but here in Georgia sometimes some plants keep a leaf or two. I'm leaving it for now just in case it puts out new leaves, but I really think it's dead. The stems are all soft. I guess I will just have to gaze at your beautiful garden more (not too bad of a price to pay:)).

One of my favorite plants too, even though I don't own one. I love the shape of the leaves as well as the color. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it takes repositioning without any backtalk!
