Finally !!!!

They started yesterday morning .. Sept 9th ... I had to wait until they left for the day to take a couple of pictures because I wasn't feeling well.
Today I have to get on board and talk to Wayne about the design as it is going ..
They started in the back first ... so these are "in progress" pictures and two special stones we found along with special butterfly that afternoon in the garden on Nanho Blue buddliea .. made me SMILE!

The sod lifted out
Weed barrier and stone dust
Gorgeous limestone

First stone heart
Second stone heart
Too cute to believe !

Special guest butterfly ...

I am a happy gardener ... thank you for all the comments I have yet to publish (forgive me for being slow .. being unwell really put a crimp in my routine) this has made me VERY happy though so I am trying to catch up !
More pictures to come as the progress continues !

Congratulations Joy! I replaced my patio last year with flagstone and I couldn't be more pleased. Mind you the 1 week job turned into 2 but the extra time and wait was sooooooooooooo worth it ! Your hearts are an extra touch.

Dear Mr. TOG Thank you so much !
I am really happy it has started .. can't wait to see the end of it either so I can go back to work in my garden.
This little break from it really helps!

Hello Cheryl and thank you so much :)
It always takes longer than expected for any job around here .. but I know it will happen so that takes the edge off ? haha
I love these hearts so much!! too funny to find them in the rocks : )

Thank you so much Diana .. the limestone is so Kingston ... that is how a lot of people refer to Kingston as the Limestone City, so having it as our pathways etc .. is perfect !

Stand in the garden with a martini in one hand and a shotgun in the other and they'll be finished in a jiffy. Works every time!

If you're like me--and I know you are!--you'll LOVE not having to deal with lawn maintenance anymore. Taking out my lawns was the best decision I ever made. I can't wait to see your "afters." This is sooooo coooool!!!! Hugs.
