I have to get it out of my system ?

I know .... ENOUGH of the hellebore already ? .. I can't seem to help myself .. but if you scroll down you can see other non-hellebore parts of the garden waking up.

Keep scrolling !
A little more !

Finally a non-hellebore picture !
The Lamb's Ears are waking up in time for some bad weather Wednesday .. we may have snow/sleet/rain .... heaven knows what else !
The front gardens have lots of daffodils smiling .. I just haven't had a chance to take pictures of them .. I always turn to the privacy of working in the back go figure ? I am a lone wolf gardener ;-)
This lichen lives on a very old piece of driftwood Garden PA brought me from his fishing trip years ago. Now it is home to a different kind of garden, self contained and flourishing ;-)

We can get sick of hellebore but, on the other hand, it's so welcome when it first starts to bloom. Spring seems to be going so quickly here in the Southern Tier of New York. I hope the bad weather of Wednesday is just a blip in spring finally being here.

The lichen fruiting bodies are terrific! I love finding mosses and lichens and fungi and the like in the garden. My favorite are the birds nest fungi.

Great pic of the lichen.

Dear Joy,
your garden woke up and looks pretty. Spring is late here and your flowers are ahead of mine. Your hellebore are amazing as always!
Hopefully this dangerous time will pass soon. They get vaccinated everywhere here and I did it with Sputnik.

Hello Alana , yup it is impossible for me to get sick of hellebore but I can go overboard with post photos maybe ? LOL Wednesday looks bad for here .. I am hoping it won't damage the plants that are trying to smile in the garden but it has happened before so I am nervous.
Fingers crossed !

Hi Lisa ... I had to Google that type of fungi and WOW ! I have never seen that before .. they are stunning ! .. I love finding unusual natural occurrences with the drift would becoming homes to fungi and moss .. I have started colonies between flagstone in that back gardens .. I would have it be my main filler for the stones if they could spread faster !

Hi Sallysmom and thank you !

Nadezda girl hello there ! Yes my gardens are finally waking up a bit but we are in for some bad weather this week .. it could throw everything off again .. the hellebore have been beautiful this year ;-)You did your vaccine with Sputnik ? .. You have to explain that to me some time ok ? LOL

I am very happy to see many photos of your hellabores. My region is probably too cold for them so I shall take my pleasure from your photos.

Hi again WC ! thank you ;-) .. we are going to be in for a mini winter storm tomorrow, so I am very glad I captured the hellebore photos .. I know they are not going to be pleased with freezing temps and possible snow/sleet. It has been known to have snow in early May here too.
We have very fickle weather here ! LOL

The Hellebores are such a relief to see after the long winter, and yours are great. The stone path also looks good.

Hi there Jason .. enjoyed your last post on the blues ;-) .. thanks !
I dreamed of my flagstone paths for years and am loving them every time I take a picture !

Oh my, that is such a delightful selection of hellebores!!! You have SO many, all delightful though, I love them they are always so welcome each winter. Ha! I prefer privacy when gardening too so always start in the back garden. The other problem with gardening in the front is that everyone stops to chat so you rarely get anything done. Lovely to see you and your lovely garden back.xxx

Hello there SB ! Thank you so much !
I have been collecting hellebore for some years and they are finally getting to that happy stage ? haha
Yes .. I am a HERMIT .. having an 8 ft. fence in the back garden has given me such a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy my garden as I work .. people say hi here as they pass in the front , as do I, but if I am bent down with a scowl ? on my face, concentrating on something that is being naughty ? people quietly skittle by ! LOL

What a wonderful husband to bring you such a fine gift for the garden. Your hellebores look great.. you have to enjoy them while they bloom.

Hi Lisa ;-) After the mini snow storm yesterday ? I am so grateful that I got photos before hand .. HAPPY EARTH DAY to you and your garden ! Yup .. some of those fishing trips had some surprises for me between driftwood and big rocks .. Garden PA is a trooper for me !

Joy,
Yes, I was vaccinated Sputnik V in March-April. I was the first of my family to do this.
I didn't feel anything from the jab, but the next day I got a headache. The second jab was easy, only my arm hurt a little.
So do not fear, this vaccine is good and protects well.

CanadianGardenJoy said...

Thank you Nadezda for letting me know about your experience ! We are waiting for the second jab, we have no idea when that is going to happen but at least we have some protection ? ;-)
