The weather has been unusually good so the girls get to sniff out door air for a while longer.

Spectacular fall color! We get very little of that in my part of Southern California. The "girls" look happy in those sunny spots. Once our nighttime temperatures decline into the 50sF (10-15C), my cat looks for her heating pad - she's barely moved from it all day.

Thanks for the last color parade. Ours is winding down, too. Enjoy!

Joy, these photos are lovely splashes of autumn shades! Because of our warm weather, some plants are still hanging on. I still have flowers in my garden and one of my hostas looks quite green for this time of year. But I suspect it won't be long before the garden is completely at rest. I hope you are keeping well!

How wonderful--how everything glows with life and fire! Here we don't realize that in your climate some of the shrubs turn color as well, not just trees.

Fall is a celebration, really, of spring and summer. Here it is different--we're all just so relieved summer is over.

Thank you for a lovely post.

Wowza! Autumn is still fabulous there in your garden. Colors are long gone here, they were about two weeks early this year, but stunning.

I think we should do fall Fridays, or something. It could last weeks. The season is so short1

Joy, what a flood of colors in your garden! I love your "Deft Lace", it's a really a lace. Hope this colorful picture will last longer and you will be able to see it for many days.

The color was spectacular this year for us, and, obviously, for you also. You captured it so well and the lighting was just right. Loved the astilbe - I've never seen leaf color like that on an astilbe, either.

Hello Joy
I don't think it's the last, but I loved your parade. Your Siamese are absolutely adorable. We lost Purdee a few weeks back, our Burmese girl. She was with us for nineteen years, oh how we miss her.
