Carnation

Ok .. no flowers .. and not likely til next year .. but flowers are not the only attraction to carnations .. they have beautiful blue gray foliage in thin strap leaves .. they can serve as a foil for other colours and textures .. and .. I find myself "seeing" them much better with the black mulch backdrop !
