The Heleniums I love !

I won't have pictures of these beauties yet .. they are my Autumn lovelies that I look forward to. I had two on my plant wish list this year and I found both of them within two days ! A record for me. Moerheim Beauty with it's rich reds to come and Sahin's Early Flowerer gold copper colours that will perk up the back garden fence.
I have knocked off a few wish list plants already and I am amazed so far .. is this a trick .. does this mean the rest of the season I won't find anything else that sets my heart racing ? LOL

Gail .. I know it must seem a bit strange already looking forward to that season .. we crazy gardeners all have our favorite time of year and plants though ? : )

Not crazy at all and I am glad you are talking about it...I need to think ahead...I am often in the spring moment and then fall comes and there is nothing really blooming!

Nothing is ever crossed off my 'wish' list. It just gets moved to my 'wish I had more' list.

No trick - you'll find more to add to your Wish List unless you keep your eyes closed the rest of the season.

Hi Joy, I'm hoping you are having a fantabulous day today since you are not blogging! Hopefully it is not going to be cold and rainy for you tomorrow, we are expecting really nasty weather here.

Sorry to hear you're still springtime sore :) I've recently had an acute bout of bursitis in my hip so am moving slowly. Fortunately we're later to warm and approach spring but today i went with hubby to the city and we bought some goodies: I found my Ramona clematis (she's healthy and as soon as risk of frost is gone I'll plant her), another clematis, a few bedding plants, and two already flowering one gallon pots of tomato (it's the ONLY way to get tomatoes up north). I'm so busy with work I'm not having much time to post ... this would be a long one to report on if only I had time.

I will come visit again in about a week and hope to catch up then. Recover from the spring soreness very soon.

Neza (friend of the rats) .. sounds good to me girl : ) .. There has to be some plants where you are that I can't get here .. wear comfy shoes ! haha

Diane .. Bursitis is one painful condition to get over. I hope you are feeling better SOON ! I see the goodies have jumped into your cart ? LOL .. I have a "grape tomato with a sweet banana pepper plant together in one pot .. Probably a mistake crowding them but I like doing them in pots too ! I can certainly understand your logic on that : )
I checked on your blog a day ago and you hadn't posted (too sore like me !) .. rest up : )

melanie .. I'm going to be wishing for that rain .. it keeps bypassing us .. I'll have to do the front garden soon with my new water wand .. just felt awful yesterday .. so blogging fell to the wayside .. hope you had a nice Mother's Day ? .. son brought home some cute garden things for me : )

Wiseacre .. how are you astilbes doing ? .. and goatsbeard ? .. Mine are REALLY jumping UP ! LOL
I always have a "reserve" wish list back up .. no worries there ! .. gardeners never go without a "I would LIKE ..." haha
