The Godfather Raccoon Part V

I'm not sure who left the trap and cat food. My poor neighbor is fed up for us with the raccoon man not really doing much to take this guy down. Ironically she is a by-law officer who has to deal with issues like this .. she has access to traps .. it is pretty sad if this is the route we have to go with this so called professional ?
I have so much pent up stress .. I came racing home in the most awful heat/humidity .. after indulging in some plants (go figure) and the only thing on my mind was pigging out on brownies (which I made yesterday because I NEEDED THEM) and maple walnut ice cream ... I so needed the double indemnity to all NO NO's in the "how much do I weigh NOW?" screaming and tearing out of hair .. what there is left of it that is ... a woman has to have these things some times ... it just has to be this way ... and I know that "FB" raccoon is laughing his A** off up there at me .. I keep an eye on that bathroom fan all the time. In any case .. if no one caught the irony of the trap under the boat motor I'll point that out now .. don't scream .. we aren't doing that .. it is just damn funny that it should be sitting right under the propeller ????

These are from today the 27th

Interesting to see cat food! I suppose they will go at anything, after all. What kind of plants did you buy???

I'm sorry, but I'm laughing so hard! You sound SO like me! People sometimes think I have a spell cast on me or something because I attract strange things like nobody's business. I CRAVE chocolate so bad when stressed. In fact, I take Ambien CR (go figure, the lady that has all the strange crap happen to her; like the now-jailed handyman back at the first of the year!)to sleep at night. And I sleepwalk to the fridge. I seem to be eating pecans and Dove creamy milk chocolates together in the dead of night! Oh my goodness, this is funny! I SO wish I was there right now, wherever you are!

Is that cat food tin open? If not, then I think you might be over-estimating the racoon's intelligence (criminal mastermind though he may be). ;-)

I really hope the trap works. Sometimes its the only way to rid of the pest. Or shoot the thing with a shotgun. That works too just not as friendly. At this point I would be goin' coon huntin' (-: I don't like critters terrorizing me or my home.

Girl, y'all need to catch that critter before you implode.

Debbie ... we all think that now ( but we are doing the work of the guy we hired .. go figure that one girl !) we had a pow-wow with our neighbor who spotted the fiend and she can't get over how STUPID this "pro" is ?

Cindee the best we can hope for is to get the thing in the trap and take it for a drive to the country ... BIG sigh

Amanda .. now worries .. we don't think this 'wise-guy" can open the tin (even though it is a rip top) hubby and neighbor made sure everything was set up right .. fingers crossed ?

Brenda ... I take meds for sleep too .. and I also have been known to do exactly that too .. go figure two women with menopause and stress want chocolate ? .. at least we don't drink ? LOL

Rose ... I'll drop you an e-mail and tell you about the plants .. fishy cat food is a magnet ?

Is that mesh with the big hole in it made of plastic? Or is that Superman's raccoon? If it's plastic then it's no wonder the raccoon is winning the battle of wits with the unarmed "pro". If not then I want whatever that raccoon is eating. I'll make a fortune getting athletes off steroids.

Wiseacre .. hubby and I are thinking (plus long suffering helpful neighbors) that our so called 'pro" is full of you know what .. he is having us do all the work by just dropping off the trap with the cat food .. neighbors working most of the night for us and hubby in the morning.
That is wire believe it or not Mr. Ripley .. and I'm afraid .. VERY afraid of a racoon that can do THAT !!!!!!

Nancy .. I know this is a tricky situation .. that is why we want it resolved as quickly as possible .. which doesn't seem to be happening. I'm so sorry about the bunny incident .. that must have been heartbreaking .. i was shocked when one of the gals said they bit the heads off chickens in a coop ...
My cats are totally indoor cats .. I have issues with people that let their cats out to get into everything and in the way of danger no matter how safe they think their cats are .. it is ridiculous now a days ..
So I don't mind your concern at all .. I appreciate it : )

Joy, I hope you're able to get rid of that varmint very soon, before you're forced to make another batch of brownies. (Mmmm. . . chocolate!)

garden girl .. isn't it amazing what will MAKE you make brownies ? Good grief this has to stop SOON !
