Holy smokes! Your yard is da bomb! It's seriously awesome!
I just bought one a few weeks ago...Empress, she hasn;t bloomed yet! We'll see what she looks like and how she does here in the south!Gail
Gail .. I looked up Empress and WOW ! "she" looks fabulous ! .. I want her too ! I used to have some great ones .. and took great pictures .. but this year .. I just don't know .. my pictures suck lately !I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures of her ! : )Hunky .. are you being bad and teasing me ?? LOL .. I have a feeling you are tweaking my nose some how ; ) haha
I love Toad Lillies. Aren't their blooms awesome in the fall? Mine are looking alittle ratty this year, because the shade they were getting in the past from the almost mature Crepe Myrtle was lost. The tree reprouted but it is still fairly small & not providing enough shade yet. :( I'm hoping they will recover now that cooler weather is setting in here. I'm bad about keeping tags too. I just started in the past year trying to keep up with them so I would know the names. :)
Hi there again girl ! LOLMy toad lilies have disappeared in the raised bed .. not sure but maybe lack of watering .. yikes ! guilty! .. and they look so much like an exotic orchid flower don't they ? something to look forward to in the Fall .. I saw one called "Moonlight" and boy, I would love that one .. soft yellow .. just struck me. Usually I am very good about tags but a few slip through the cracks .. damn !
I love that driftwood. I have a few pieces of driftwood i have collected too. Its so pretty!!! The toad lily is cool too.
Hi Cindee .. this sucker is HEAVY .. and I could really use it to move a bit so I can dig out a beautiful fern leaf Bleeding Heart tucked in behind it .. why did I do that ??? haha
