Nature's Frosting

Can you see the Mountain Ash berries out of focus , in the background ?
The white threads of snow streaking through the air ?
The Sumac fruit looking just as pretty under a light layer of this frosting : )

The Karly Rose grass looks nothing like it's gorgeous summer self .. but it adds structure and interest to the winter garden. The multi-coloured glass in the garden spike always looks beautiful to me .. and of course I can't find any more like it now ?
This picture is a bit blurry .. but I like the swirling streaks of snow , the little terra cotta birdhouse .. the metal curls in the garden obelisk .. it all looks good together.
Ms. Whiskers is not all that impressed by the snow .. better left unsaid what her little cat mind is thinking : )
The copper twirler is oxidising nicely .. funny how the snow sticks as if it were magnetized.

.... and of course the Benchwarmers .. don't they look like such a HAPPY crew ? haha "NOT"!

All so beautiful, painted white by nature. It's really warm here today. Sweating outside in shorts!

Brenda .. it is hard to imagine sweating outside here right now .. although it isn't as cold as it could be .. a light dusting of snow is nice .. but when you get 4 feet of the damn stuf dumped on you .. not so much !!! LOL

Hi there Yolanda ! all of your animal crew is doing well yes ? they are all sweetie pies : )
Yes .. just enough frosting on things to look xmasy .. but not 4 feet at a time? LOL

Hi Diane .. I love that copper twirler .. why I didn't get the second one I have no idea .. darn !
Ms. Whiskers is pretty happy out there with the Benchwarmes so far : )
