End of Story ?

Well .. the kits were gone when the baby box was looked at this morning .. hopefully that poor tired, harassed, single mom found a safe haven for herself and her babies .. we wish them the best but it is time our home is no longer a wild life sanctuary ?
So much in fact, our roof has been getting the "every nook and cranny inspection " as in "lets not ever have an opening that anything can get into ?" type of ordeal can you say "CHA-CHING!!" ?? with bank account taking a beating ... such is life eh ?
Since noon there has been tapping and hammering and all those sorts of noises guys do when getting the job done !
I feel like my frog here .. "Please !!! Please !!! can we have some normal (yeah .. I know .. a stretch ) quiet time to ourselves ... without jumping at every little noise thinking we have uninvited guests some where up there ?" Maybe now the only wild life in our lives will be at the bird feeders .. I really hope so .. we can use the break !

Glad to hear the family has moved on...hopefully they were just an early April fool's joke and now that the day is done, so are they. You deserve some peace and quiet.

I hope that your house is completely sealed now and that you'll have some nice and quiet days to enjoy and that they will make you relax again. Happy Easter / gittan

Aww, the babies were so cute but in your attic??? I'm glad they moved on-hopefully a long way away. Hang tough, the roof will be done soon enough, money pit or not it is your home.

Joy, I love your little frog! And he's perfect for this post; great way to describe the way you feel :)

I'm happy to see that momma raccoon has moved on with her babies. I hope she's found a good home to raise them. And I hope she finds the dead beat dad and kicks his sorry *butt* for not helping out...he he he...

Maybe this is the end of this story - for good - and you can concentrate on the wonderful weather we're having, and the glorious gardening season up ahead!
