Nonsense Issues ......

A second day of sunshine has us almost "Blinded by the light" ..
Remember that song from the 70's ?... I know some of you out there DO !!
Snow sparkles in the light .. and it is like a magnet to my eyes .. even fake diamonds are a girl's best friend ? we just can't help ourselves can we ? .. what are those birds that collet anything sparkly ??
This was just a "zen" moment ... ahhhh ! ... quietly appreciating nature's handy work (spell check is having a fit for some reason)
OK .. I just couldn't help myself yet again ... my grasses got to me and I started to laugh .. not the insane laugh of cabin fever ... yet .. but it was a strange moment that had to be ?
I don't explain Dave and the boys very often .. but I know Cindee from Cindee's Garden does wonder about Mista G and how he is doing ...
Well .. it could be worse ? .. being under a soft blanket of snow isn't so bad is it ?
Dave's crack is still an issue but we really can't address that until Spring ... swings in temperature could play havoc with crack repairs !
Winthrop braves the cold and his own issues with "icing" up ..
Some how basking in what sun we have is a cure all ... those quiet blissful moments ?

Joy, your header and background may me feel so happy! I have got to get rid of my blue soon maybe before February.

The snow looks so soft and fluffy, snowing here right now but I don't think we are supposed to get much.

Love your new header, Joy! Now I'm really longing for spring...

What a change from Sunday's post--looks like Nature was teasing you with a taste of spring for a day or two. Good to see Dave and the boys are surviving the winter, all toasty under their "blanket." Your grasses look so beautiful in the snow; I'm really appreciating mine this winter, too--definitely a a great example of 'winter interest.' One of my New Year's resolutions is to plant more grasses this year!

If you are trying to convince me that the snow stinks and you are tired of it... it's not working!! You can't post beautiful pictures of those sparkles and not expect me to drool in envy!! :) :)

I like your new background.
That is exactly the part of snow that I like.

Nonsense, your post wasn't nonsense at all! Great shots of the snowy flakes.

Joy, We've had a relatively snow-free winter in Toronto until today. I do love the sparkle of fresh-fallen snow.

Now that I know about Mista G, Wintrop and the rest of the gang, I'll need to keep coming by and see how they fair over the winter.

Hello there Whimsy : )
I have to laugh girl .. or that maniacal cabin fever laugh would take over and you would hear me from there! .. and there is so much more to get through with our winter, I will be thumping the funny bone as much as possible ;-) !!

Eileen girl thank you and YES !! Valentine's Day (also husband's birthday) cry out for a red theme and if it makes you happy all the better : ) It is still snowing here .. Friday morning, the 7th .. and will be for a while .. winter is making up for ignoring us so long ? hehehehe

Thank you Rose girl : ) Yes .. we were sliding into this type of winter knee jerk reaction .. no avoiding it! Hey ? I want to keep track of what grasses you find .. I know I want to plant more too, they are true stars in the winter time aren't they ? : ) the boys have grumbled a "hello" ? haha

Ms. S it is snowing like mad .. will be till Monday or Tuesday ..eeekk ! The boys are covered up again so they aren't too bad natured .. I do hear grumbles but that is a given! LOL
I have to admit to watching Harry Potter movies ? hehehe

Thank you Donna girl .. some times I get flashes of desperation for a post during these LONG winter days/nights .. humour saves a bit of sanity ? ;-)

Linda you have forgotten your white knuckle drives to the airport haven't you ! It is dark and snowing like mad here still .. January is the longest month of the year in my mind, or what is left of it ? But it is true about sparkly snow .. it is beautiful : )

Sandy girl those sparkles do make us smile don't they ? and bright red seems to make an impact in a positive way .. especially for February ? wink wink

Grace girl .. I owe you an e-mail .. I might just get one done today!
I am full of nonsense girl .. and it leaks out ? hehehe

Helen we were snow free here in Kingston for ages .. and it was a green Christmas here .. but now this end of the province is getting it's fair share and more to come!

Hey there lifeshighway ! The boys are more than happy to be the spotlight of a fan checking up on them : ) Thank you for stopping by!

Wowza! I am so digging this gorgeous red background. And, I think I know what you're referencing? "I can see clearly now the snow is gone?" I dunno. That's my best guess. Do I win anything?? :D
