My Wednesday ....

This is a simple post of a favourite spot in my garden with just the right morning light.
My husband's best friend passed away after a shocking battle with cancer .. today  is his memorial service.
I just wanted to say goodbye to Terry in my own way, here from my blog .. he thought my garden was beautiful and I appreciated that .. to Joan his wife, and the rest  of his family .. our hearts go out to them.
I am also remembering my friend Francine, who also was taken by cancer a few years ago ..
Why can't a cure be found by now ?

Oh, I'm very sorry Joy. That's really sad. I'm with you on why isn't there a cure yet?? It seems like there is a ton of money thrown toward it. I've lost a few friends to it too. Seems like there are more and more cases. :-(

It's just not fair. It's just not right. They manage to learn more and more, but just not fast enough for so many of our good dear friends and loved ones. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

I'm very sorry to hear this Joy. Cancer seems to be everywhere doesn't it, touching so many people. So much research and yet we don't seem to be any closer.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend, Joy. One of my good friends lost her husband a few months ago after a long, long battle with cancer. I agree that it's hard to understand why a cure hasn't been found by now.

what to say - passing by - I offer a virtual hug. And remember my father 20 years ago, also cancer.

Your tribute to Terry is touching. I'm so sorry is happened. Your garden IS beautiful and Terry is lucky to have had such good friends and a place to visit like your garden. Thinking of you all.

Joy, I'm so sorry about your hubby's best friend; it pains me when I hear about loved ones being lost to cancer. Yes, why can't a cure be found already??? Please extend my sympathy to your husband; tell him I'm very sorry for his loss. I will email you soon to touch base. My thoughts are with all of you.

I thought it was Sunday until I read your post. So sorry to hear about your friends. It does make us wonder why the "C" cannot be obliterated. Big Hugs.

Thank you all for leaving such kind considerate comments .. I wouldn't normally post like this on something so personal .. but it really impacted to the bone losing this best friend of my husband.
You are all very thoughtful people and I appreciate that : )
