ahh, we are so close now. I've been putting together candy bags for the kids. 'we don't make nice with mice' LOL. I could use that sign as a warning here. my herd of mousers have been extra diligent lately.

Joy, getting my table set for Halloween, actually the Saturday before, fun time of year. I did mention the Redbud, multi stemmed variety, to replace your Serviceberry. It is a beautiful understory tree with great magenta flowers and yellow heart-shaped leaved in the fall. It can go as low as zone 4, so I don't know if that would work for you.

oh Joy, you're in the spirit! I love your skywatch photos in previous post and how you played with them. the different moods you produced are curious, and lovely. I'm wondering what you use for editing. initially when I looked at your shadow shot I thought the shadow looked like a little witch. which is appropriate! great shot. happy week to you Joy.

Oh yes, there is only one more week!
Last year was such a wet and windy weather, so we could nibble all alone!
By the way, do you know the Drum Point Light, Maryland? That's soo cute!! It has moved from Chesapeake Bay to Solomon's Island.

Eileen I just remembered now that you did suggest that one .. but it is the exact cultivar that I need to know which one it is for the low zone .. the usual ones I see when searching are at zone 6 and higher.
I bet the table looks "spooktacular!!" LOL

Thank you Ms. Becky girl : )
I dropped a small e-mail off to you to tell you what photo managers I use .. you are too sweet about my pictures, thanks again !

Time is flying by Meggie .. I fear with the weather we have been having it will be one miserable night .. this time October has sunk for me with the rain and wind .. no beautiful leaves to photograph : (
