Shadow Shot Time

I'm flaunting my Morden Sunrise rose for the last time this season.
It threw the perfect shadow on the kitchen hutch that day.
I did have to use the "blur" option to hide some toaster crumbs on the shelf .. again I couldn't help myself because .. eeekk ! There were crumbs in my beautiful pictures ! wink wink
Rather a two part shadow shot ....
The smaller one in the first shot with the rose and then the stand alone almost perfect shadow with even the water lines included .. how good could it get ? : )
Now .. the next thing you want to do (applying a wee bit of mind control to you ?) is visit Tracy over at Hey Harriet to see the huge variety of shadows captured by us "shadow shooters" !   Enjoy : )

Nothing crumb-y about this view! Your flowery shots may start to arrive from inside these days, but the gardener's tough will still be evident. Sweet!

Sadly, the rose is probably gone...but you still have the photographic memories!

SHADOW, WILL YOU?

Shadow, will you always be
Here where I can always see
What you do and how you play?
Or will you just slip away?

Beautiful shadows, and a great giggle about the toast crumbs, LOL.
You made me remember some shadow shots I took of a rose in a vase when we were traveling in the spring. I must look them up.
Thanks for the beautiful photos, and for the reminder.

I really like the first picture Joy as you've captured shadows on the rose as well as the wall. Great job. I ran out with the camera tonight to capture the sunset (very red and purple right now) and thought of your delightful sunrise photos. I'm never awake enough to grab a camera in the morning but night time I can do.
