Speculaas Spectacle ! Part II

OK .. I had to do a second post on my speculaas and assorted wood carvings collected while I lived in the Netherlands .. they are a soft spot for me .. like my garden .. but these don't up and die on me thankfully ! Although they do scream .. dust us for heaven sake !!!
The wee milking stool in the corner is far more intricate than this picture displays .. go figure .. me taking pictures at 6 AM ? Not the most artistic !
... and so there are the cigar molds .. took us a while to figure out what the heck are these things ??
Sugar or candy molds are smaller than the cookie molds .. harder to find as well .. so when I saw this board I bargained away (they love to haggle at flea markets and I got pretty darn good at it)
Every couple has to have one made with an "EST"  that is your wedding date so a heart .. and a
... tall house are a must to add to a collection .. the tall houses are amazing to see in real life .. along the canals .. apart from the "red light" district  ... eeekkk !
You have to have a Dutch girl and boy and a lot of windmills too !
Plus a few chests .. to secure your collection of a gazillion candles .. that is what fills this chest.
Yes .. a few irons had to be collected as well .. I think I am done collecting now !

Hi Joy! Oh more. I just adore your collections. I cannot get over the details in the carvings on them. You have quite the collection girl.
Are you ready for Christmas. I hope your DIL arrives safely.
Merry Christmas to you and your family dear friend.

What a nice collection! Is the sugar mold from Canada?
I know you are outside taking photos early, just like I am, so am not surprised that you took these shots early.

What a wonderful collection. The dust is the reason why I don't collect anything. I am much lazier than you are obviously.

If the heart signifies your marriage is the tall house for your happy home? Thanks for showing more of these and explaining. I had wondered what all those horizontal lines were - strange cookies.

Those are beautiful cookie molds and certainly worth collecting. I have never seen these types of cookie molds. They are very whimsical and very creative... Lovely!

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

These are beautiful, Joy! I understand the cookie molds, but I never would have guessed that the one set was for molding cigars. Such an intriguing collection; thanks for sharing with us. Hope you are all ready for the holidays--wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

Thanks Joy for the follow-up of the molds. That is a wonderful collection. I like to collect too but have now decided if I can't take care of it I don't need it. So a lot of my "treasures" have & will continue to go to the woods.
Merry Christmas to you & yours.

Lola girl I know how you feel about collections .. these were captured over 12 years ago .. and now the only collecting I do is for the garden .. and then I have to hold back a lot ? haha
You send treasures to the woods ?LOL .. I have to go look in the woods to see if anyone else does that here ? LOL
Hey have great holidays Lola .. put your feet up and relax and just plain enjoy yourself girl !
