Have you got a "Twinkle" ?

I know .. kind of a cheesy "hook, line, and sinker" to get you to click and see what the heck am I talking about here .. but I promise it is all about the garden and plants .. so stick with me garden kids .. especially the clematis lovers !
This is a fairly new beauty of  intergifolia (how is that for a description for which wikipedia does NOT have an explanation of ?) .. so I will say it is a clematis, of the none climbing nature.
It's name is Twinkle ..aka "Zotwi" .. I don't know what that name is about, Twinkle is much nicer!
One that I really didn't pay attention to .. but now I am .. especially since I have ordered it.
How can you not love these beautiful little bell flowers that are coloured so exquisitely ?
It is almost impossible to find a picture of it on the web .. but I did .. so again, this is NOT my picture and I want to thank who ever did take it !
So .. I am looking for another gardener that might have this little beauty ? and their opinions on it ?

This is "Joe Zary"

I have been eyeing ? Joe for some time .. two years in fact !
It is a Canadian bred clematis that with stands the COLD COLD winters of our western provinces ..
So this is a no brainer to have in a container (I'm a poet and don't know it?) on the deck ..
I really want a flowering vine on the deck other than the usual Morning Glories or other annuals .. Nothing against them .. they are pretty and reliable ..
But Joe seems to have stolen my heart in a Canadian way .. EH !
Again these are not my pictures and I thank who ever has taken them ..
I hope to have my own this year to post and talk about .. if any other gardener has this one ?
Could you let me know what you think about it ?

Oh shooooott I can't remember if I have Joe Zarey or not...after all it's not like I can whip out the door and check now isn't it? They are back down on the coast, at a friends house. I know that I had a little one very much like that, and I LOVED it, profuse bloomer, hardy, and so easy.

But I WANT twinkle, WANT!! that's my gardeners rant, I WANT IT!!! LOL.

Jen girl of course you can whip out your door! LOL .. You just will see snow that is all! hehehe
Hey girl you better order Twinkle from Garden Import and soon .. unless you know of another source ? That is the only place I have seen that has it .. so I am very glad to have gotten an order in ! phew ! rant on girl !LOL

Hello Rebecca ! .. I am still giggling over your not so hot plants that you won't try again .. that was really good : )
This are different clematis that I don't see at other sites and especially nice to have a home grown one as Joe Zary !

Marguerite girl thank you for that e-mail .. a lot of great information and it helps because I am a new garden mom to clematis really .. I don't know why they have bloomed for me as they do, but I love it ! : )

Hey there Sandy girl !
Yup .. I couldn't resist them .. Twinkle is totally new to me but I have been wanting Joe for a long time so finally I did it : )

Joe all the way. W tend to avoid climbers on the house as they encourage our over ambitious ant population, bur we live on/with a super-colony.

Cat girl I just read your post on how many plants have come alive with their Spring blossoms, over at your place!
It is amazing and I bet being home grown they are extra delicious : )
Ugh!! to those horrible ants !!

Hello,
Those are beautiful clematis!
I did not know that there was a non-climbing clematis. Must look for them here.
Have a great day!

Hello Darla girl .. isn't that flower something! I really hope it flourishes in my garden and I can get pictures like that of it !

Thanks Lea .. look for integrifolia clematis .. that narrows the search for non climbing clematis .. they are amazing !

I love those bush-type Clematis...I'm always trying to find room in the garden to squeeze another one in! I have Clematis recta purpurea, which is also non-climbing, but is really grown for the foliage more than the flowers. I've been really tempted by the 'Sugar Bowl' Clematis (I think sold on the HIgh Country Gardens website) as well as 'Rooguchi', which Joy Creek Nursery (near me) sells...super-cool!
