Shadow Shot Time

Emma graciously agreed to pose for me on this day last year and I have been storing "her" for Shadow Shot time .... She actually had her beauty treatment yesterday at our vet clinic .. all combed out with a little shaving in certain areas to keep her neat and tidy .. plus a vanilla scent cat perfume with an aqua coloured bandanna tied around her neck (which of course came off immediately when she got home .. a few growls from Sophie (part Siamese, but "whole" Siamese attitude ?) .. and that incident was finished finally ! The vet girls cooed over how beautiful this BIG baby is letting them work on her with no problem at all .. Main Coon side attitude ? Siberian ? who knows but in truth ? she is a BIG baby that is too smart for her own good !
Now .. to see more captures of some interesting shadows you have to wander over to SSll icon and visit with those shadow shooter for a bit !

I'm sure Emma enjoyed the streaks of sun more than the shadows!

She's a beauty! And nice to boot? Wow that girl has it all.

The others are just jealous of her sparkling personality.

Great shot, Emma poses so well.

I think Maine Coon, given the tufts of fur inside the ears and the long and perhaps nubby underside. And the size! Maine Coon are big, but really gentle giants. Emma looks good, she knows the right polite kitty pose. A beautiful feline family friend! No matter what Sophie says...

Howdy, kind of a stressful winter here no snow just other stuff.
Trying to snap out of the blues and get my gardening head back on.
So shocked you've had little snow...must be nice for a change.

Your kitty did a excellent job posing for you. It was watching to see if the shadows moved.

An adorable character that seems to need vet treatment for the same coat issues as our Shadow! Beautiful photo!

Great shot! Lots of shadowy fun. As I sit here at the computer, and being the only human awake at this ungodly hour, the cat walks around me making a few squeaks now and again to be let outside. It has become routine. As far as attitude, well, let's just say we get along okay. He lets someone else let him in later when the inhabitants are awake.

Peace

Emma is such a pretty girl. I find it funny how these critters always bask in the sun despite the fur coats they wear. I always thought they'd be too warm there. But I guess not!
