Shadow Shot Time !

We had the most amazing weather this past week .. and I worked myself non stop just about four days.
This quiet shadow early in the morning made me take its picture .. soft with light, and life coming forth.

This second shot was something that again , also caught my eye as I was typing away on my computer. It was just so perfect (in my mind) it had to be captured.
So quiet and again so soft .. it was a wonderful mood enhancer after working so hard !

If you are a fan of shadows, you will love all the shadow shooter works gathered at the SSS II icon on the side bar .. there are so many wonderful shadows "caught" you will be amazed !

You are prepping your yard and garden - indicating to us that winter always takes too long, so we get our minds ready to make a home foe the flora to be in the warmer seasons. Good work outside! In the home, shadows add that artistry we crave - until the garden plants and shadows grow that is!

The second one reminds me of my chasing as I am starting in my bedroom and the lamps always catches shadows, like this.

Happy SSS,

I wonder which lamp will shine brighter: the original or its shadow?

Great shadow shots. The walkway has a variety of interesting shadows. And, the lamp created a wonderful shadow on the wall.
Happy Sunday!!

Joy, I am looking like crazy for the back end of a departing raccoon, but I just can't see one, [giggle].

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Gorgeous shots, love the soft shadows, and then the indoor shot that must have been so fun to take, because you knew you were done for the day.

Don't overwork yourself, it will still be there in a few day...oh, and we still have snow, now who lives where? LOL.

Hey all of you lovely Shadow Shooters ! I have tried to get to each of your blogs and leave a comment .. but some of the blogs won't let me do that .. Wordpress seems to be cranky for some reason. In any case thanks for stopping by !!

I love shadows - most of the time photography would be nothing without it. I find myself looking for the shadows when I'm out in nature - that's where the magic happens :) Your yard is looking very springy! We are still getting rid our snow... grrrhhh.

So sorry I have been absent from all things bloggy, had another breakdown and just about been able to write something every now and then - not read anyone's blog in ages. Need to catch up!

Hi Joy, We did have the most incredible weather last week didn't we? I did get outside a little bit, but not as much as I would have liked. As in your first shadow shot, my garden is slowly coming to life. Today however, was downright cold, and so I did notice this afternoon that most plants are holding back now, waiting for the weather to decide on whether it is still winter or finally spring.
