Shadow Shot Time

I wish I could have a scratch and sniff picture for today's meme.
This basil is amazing in aroma and beautiful when in blossom which intensifies the scent even more.
Siam Queen was just one of the herbs I love to have even though I don't use much of it .. I love brushing against her for that wonderful smell.
Very simple shadows for today to the left of the plant .. sweet and simple .. easy on the shadow hunting brain?

Oh and such radiant colors in that basil. It must smell stunning.

I have some seeded, but they are small, small, tiny things...

Fresh basil has a wonderful fragrance - and works well in many dishes! Our potted basil has only white flowers, not these excellent and beautiful ones! Yes, the aroma draws us in to admire these wonderful leaves!

I tend to have a brown thumb and the only herb I've ever consistently grown successfully is rosemary. Fortunately I do like to cook with it!

Your Basil is gorgeous and yes, it would be wonderful if we could add "scratch and sniff" to our photos!!

I simply love basil.
I never grew it till last year, and now don't know how I went so long without fresh basil. Just this morning I ran out in my robe to get a few leaves to put the finishing touches of my husband's father's day breakfast.
Cheers,
Leah

Your basil is beautiful!

I noticed you had a weather widget for Kingston, Ontario...I spent part of a summer there when I was young and wild. Ran away from college in California and ended there...many memories!

Blessings!

Thank you all again for being so kind with stopping by and leaving comments for my post .. I am red faced with being stretched with the garden and laying face down on the floor when I come in from working in it .. there seems to be no in between until we hit a rain day and I can visit all of your wonderful blogs !!
Again, I so appreciate each and everyone of you from dropping by!!

I do that with my herbs too. I grow mint simply so I can run my fingers through it. Love the flowers on that basil.

Hi Joy, I almost embarrassed to confess that I have never seen this particular basil before. I often grow herbs, but not often basil. It does have a wonderful fragrance doesn't it!
P.S. Love the dramatic header!!
