Skies of the Week

This was a very soft dreamy sky that back lighted the pear tree in an almost black and white scenario.
Click on it (and the other pictures) to see how subtle yet detailed all the cloud layering is.

There has been a gorgeous big moon the last few nights and of course I only remember when it has gotten too dark out to capture a sharp image of it .. but it was fun to have it back light our maple tree.

Then this morning for just a few moments the sun was gleaming through the pear tree in shades of gold.

Now the light is gone .. we have cloud cover but no promise of the badly needed rain that we so wish would fall .. I think we all have to resort to that rain dance the garden community has been talking about ?
THINK RAIN PEOPLE !!!

Hey girlie girl! Hows it going? You take the most beautiful sky photos. Make sure you video the rain dance, in your robe I bet, lol. Come by and visit for a spell.

I am thinking rain for sure. I was sitting out this evening awaiting the arrival of the remmanents of Isaac. They are supposed to be here. I guess I will have to wait a little longer. Maybe I will be able to see the Blue Moon if the clouds don't come in with rain. I hope you have a great weekend. Love your sky photos.

Hi Joy, I thought I would get your long weekend started with some good news: you are the winner of the Natural Companions book draw. Congratulations!! Can you please email me your address so I can send you the book. My email is jenc_art@hotmail.com
There is a beautiful full moon again tonight. It seems huge in the sky. I like your image of the moon in the maples. The maple leaves look almost like bat wings.
I hope you have a great long weekend. Hold that thought on the rain dance until at least Monday! LOL

Lisa girl hello there and thank you so much girl : ).. I am wondering if you did get something left of Isaac ? any rain at all ? This has been the driest summer I have ever seen here .. I just hope the plants went dormant and not dead .. I missed last nights moon. The air has been so still here it is creepy.Hope you are having a nice relaxing weekend!
