Fall Flowers

I love anemones in the Autumn .. like the last of the "party dresses" in the garden .. and there is that PINK factor that always makes me smile

The wax bells have such big buds ... and such shy flowers .. you have to work to see how they look inside but it is worth it.

These rudbeckia ? of the different cultivar (do you think I can remember the name .. duh?)
In any case .. these babies have bloomed all season so I have to say that they truly are like sunshine in the garden .. even through our drought .. a thumbs up on this beauty !

So your garden is winding down? Had any cool weather yet? I did laugh at those characters in the last post.

Names I need names, Wax bell, is that Kirengoshinga. Hey, can you believe I remember a name from ages ago? Is that what it is, and it's hardy?

And the Annemones, Oh I want one so badly, who was the silly gardener that gave her's away, so what if it was in a 40 inch pot and weighed a ton, silly me.

Hello Lisa girl and thank you so much : ) .. the light can be magical this time of year and I really want to get some good last shots of it before old man winter bites our collective butts?LOL

Darla girl how are you on those crutches ? Yes!! finally some cool weather and rain starting again tomorrow and for the weekend .. silly to get excited about it but I can't help myself ?

Jen girl I just sent an e-mail and forgot to confirm that yes ! it is Kirengoshina yellow wax bells and they survived the drought because I watered them and so they smiled and put out more buds than ever before.
I wrote about which kind of anemones I have and had and will probably get again .. BIG sigh!

Love those anemones, have the pink one and just put in a white one which hasn't bloomed yet. I am liking the height they add to the garden this time of year.

Hello Eileen girl .. yes ! a lot of them are quite high .. but I tend to like the more compact ones like Pamina .. I have to find more of them : )

Joy your anemones are so beautiful. Mine are late blooming this year for some reason. I love that Rudbeckia girl. SO cheerful looking in the bright yellow. Hope you are feeling better my friend. Take care and have a lovely weekend.
