Shadow Shot Time

This is an older picture I ran across of my sleeping garden face .. I thought it was perfect for bringing the garden to a close soon.
The gardens will be tucked in .. and start to slumber with winter weather not far away.
It is a peaceful time and I think this little face exudes a some what Zen state, perhaps ? wink wink
With a  few shadows included, this wraps up my contribution to Shadow Shot Time  : )

Night night little garden, until we rise again! Perfect ending to your shadow shot gems. Hugs.

That little face does look like it's ready to slumber, and accepts that it's happening...
Me, well we had our first real frost last night...ah....acceptance.

Not easy for a gardener.

This is a beautiful piece of garden art! I have never seen one like this before! Creative!

Sleeping peacefully too! Dormant does not mean 'dead', it is merely a state of hibernation that allows the beauty to bloom again next year. Hope for sufficient snow this winter so your plants will not thrist next summer!

S/he looks to be in sweet (and, of course, shadowy) repose!

I could use a little zen right now. Although the garden is going into a peaceful slumber I'm being run ragged trying to get it tucked in! Hope you are having an easier time of it and are well prepared for winter.

My garden has a few weeks yet but I imagine in the norther latitudes it is getting quite chilly.
I'll be ready to tuck it in, the summer heat, deer and insects have taken quite a toll.

This white garden face is very thoughtful, dreaming about winter, isn't it?

Love that sleeping face in the garden. We are also shutting down the garden, seems like years ago we did this before. I think it was that never ending summer.

cute picture.
I hope you enjoy the slow slumber of the quiet winter months as much as your flowers do.
Cheers,
